Busted. Martin told the Officer Michele was slumped over the tub with head in water.

The defense attorney points out minor memory lapses. At fist I thought he was making points that the witnesses were changing their testimony but it isn't that IMO the minor differences is due to time and how busy the police and EMT people are. If I was the State I would ask each LE and EMT person approximately how many calls have they responded to since this one. The written statements from these people should dispel any lapses in memory.

If Michele was half in half out of the tub, initially, wouldn't she have slid back out? Lower portion of my (female) anatomy is heavier than the top. Michele's six year old daughter drew a picture of her mom in the tub. Lying in the bottom of the tub, face up at the faucet's end.

This doesn't add up to an accidental death.

IMO they aught to change that policy of letting the doctor at the scene relay the scene on the phone to other expert responders.

He could have caused this scenerio!

Chief interviewed martin........martin said

she had ODed on her pain meds

and she could of slipped in the tub

and that he only left for a few moments

can recalled as to how martin found her

BBM, add in that there wasn't any investigation until a couple of years after the "event".

Exactly. And Martin would have had no problem getting her out of the tub if just her upper torso was submerged. That would have been an easy lift from behind. Not really much of a lift.

It's got potential to be fascinating, all the elements are there in terms of the background of the victim and investigation, the strange circumstances of her death, and the personality of the defendant. But the cast of characters so far have been dull, especially the lawyers and judge. It's strange watching a compelling case unfold in such a dull manner. Not that the trial is for our entertainment, but I know I wouldn't be watching if I didn't know the back story. JMO
