I don't think they were actually married. They said they were when they were committing fraud

Ahhh.... Thanks! I didn't realize that. So he also wore a fake ring to help perpetrate the fraud? :waitasec:

I would say yes, for a normal person. However, when you marry your lover on the day of your wife's funeral - All that goes out the window. I think it pretty much shows he didn't love her at all.

I'll never understand how he could re-marry so quickly!? Is he that messed up in the head, that he didn't think anyone would find that odd? :waitasec:

I think his arrogance knows no bounds. He had hoodwinked the government and medical community with getting disability for many years. He had hoodwinked school officials into getting his degrees in both medicine and the legal field. He probably slept around hoodwinking his wife with stories of long, doctor hours.

Until I see a marriage license a signed license I don't believe he married Gypsy.

martin told this nurse that michelle hurt her neck or hit her head on the headboard

for some reason she couldn't get to the doctor right away

martin asked for those specific amounts of drugs

martin handed the phone to the nurse to talk to Alexis - how cruel

nurse was surprised that martin was back to work the following monday

I am sorry to hear about your mom and sister :( I know my kids would scream bloody murder over a splinter.

? for this board...

If you genuinely care, love someone doesn't adrenaline kick in to help that person and that means getting the person into a position that she can have CPR administered to her? I'm sure you all have heard about the person who picked up a car that was crushing their loved ones. I think that is extreme but I do think that initially the rush of adrenaline may mask any pain or discomfort a person feels while trying to save their loved one. The pain comes later.

BBM That is what I have always heard.

Also, If he didn't let the water out, she would be floating and easier to get out. In an emergency, I think I could get my arms under their armpits and use my weight to pull them out and onto the floor. On a river, thats how you get someone back onto a raft if they are overboard.

And we are back... Discussing Ada's potential testimony

Jury not present

I appreciate the quiet, respectful manner in which this case is being tried.

Really? My thoughts were that everyone is "dead" (is the judge awake?) and the only "emotion" shown is by :) (sorry, cookie smiley won't work :floorlaugh:) IMO.

The clothing found in bathroom on the floor near doorway is a long sleeved dark shirt, a bra and a LDS undershirt.

Aww... Alexis had twins a week ago! Good for her!

Right! And hopefully you don't hit your butt too hard on the ground but at that moment I don't think a person is too worried about a boo boo on their butt and more about saving the person.

That is how I think I would have reacted. Put my arms under their armpits and have my right hand grip my left wrist and pull for all I am worth. I imagine we would both come out of that tub.

Poor Ada. My heart breaks for her to have to go through this. She is just a kid.

How do we even know the drugs prescribed by Nurse Practitioner Steven Mickelson were ever for Michele? Martin stated they were. Michele was not seen by him so we have no way of knowing if Michele ever needed these drugs.

I think her testimony will come in.

And I think the defense will have the delicate job of trying to discredit a kid. :P

Good point. He could have been stockpiling them for a later time or maybe feeding a wild girl friend?

Ok, so the defense is taking the position that Ada has no memory. She only knows what she has been told. :sigh:

The judge wants her available Thursday morning. She is 12 now. They are going to have her come in so the judge can assess if she can testify. The jury will come in late.

So how is the defense saying that Alex (the oldest girl and suspicious of her father) got hold of Ada and prepare Ada so she could draw a detailed drawing of her mom in the bottom of the bath tub? Was the drawing taken immediately after the drowning or years later? The stick figure looks like a very young person drew it.
