I remember the jury asked the detective what the black spot was in the photo. I don't know if they meant the hair tie or the black spot on the bottle.

I wonder if Michele was leaning over the tub washing her hair?

I loved it when the defense complained to the judge about the tub still being right there in front of the jury.
so the judge asked the pros if they had anymore witnesses that would be speaking about the tub. I think they said not much longer or something.
Then the judge asked the Defense, are you gonna need the tub for your defense......said something like...probably

duh

During the Channon Christian and Chris Newsom trials, the Pros left the trashcan, that Channon was found dead in, right there in front of the jury the entire time. It was fantastic.

The bathtub faucet is near the wall where the window is located which is opposite from the side where she would kneel down beside the tub if washing her hair. Far too uncomfortable. Didn't happen. Another position would be to sit inside the tub and bend the head under the faucet. Due to the recent surgery, neither of those options make sense to me. Following facial surgery, wouldn't you stand at the kitchen sink to wash your hair being most careful not to moisten the suture lines?

As difficult as this is to consider, my theory is that she was intentionally drugged. Once she became sufficiently incapacitated, he filled the tub himself. In her intoxicated state, he led her to the tub and plunged her head underwater. Sadly, Michele's defense systems were too weak to fight against his devious actions.

Ada stated that her mommy was fully dressed. Michele intended to take her daughter to McDonald's for lunch. Michele had no intention of washing her hair at that particular time.

MacNeill's "Oh, poor pitiful me. I'm on the verge of tears." fraudulent facial expressions for the jury make me ill. His sorrow is only for his sorry narcissistic self.

Thank you and I totally agree.

Was just throwing that out there to get a response.... :seeya:

I thought it was cancer of the toe??? :scared:
Never heard of that before, but what do I know.

I went to a podiatrist years ago with a problem. When I inquired about cancer of a toe, he told me it is extremely rare, due to the fact that the toes are not very vascular.

Good Morning peoples!

Is Court on for today? I heard stories about who may be called to testify on Thursday but what happened to today?

I was listening to one of the HLN evening shows and the person said that the judge would not allow Alex to testify about a great deal of things including that her mom saying to her 'if something happens to me make sure your father wasn't involved.

I am sorry to hear about your mom and sister :( I know my kids would scream bloody murder over a splinter.

? for this board...

If you genuinely care, love someone doesn't adrenaline kick in to help that person and that means getting the person into a position that she can have CPR administered to her? I'm sure you all have heard about the person who picked up a car that was crushing their loved ones. I think that is extreme but I do think that initially the rush of adrenaline may mask any pain or discomfort a person feels while trying to save their loved one. The pain comes later.

When my mom was about 70, my dad got pinned under a cement stationary tub while trying to fix its drain. She lived it right off him and felt it was the adrenaline rush that gave her the strength. She said it weighed a couple hundred pounds at least.

Besides which, as someone noted, he claimed she was outside the tub and slumped over it. It shouldn't have been hard at all to get her out from a position like that.

I don't remember where I saw the drawing done by a child showing a lady in dark top and bottom clothing in the bottom of a bath tub. She also said her mother's face was above the water and her mom's hair was going down the drain.

I think I first saw that on Nancy Grace, and IIRC, she did it soon after her mom died. I saw a video clip last night of a little girl holding what looked like the same pic, but I didn't hear anyone mentioning what the video portrayed, although I assume it was probably her.

I think MacNeill recognized how feeble his story of Michele hitting her head and drowning with her ending up half in and half out of the tub and him unable to pull her out of the tub sounded so he added or switched the story to have Michele now laying prone in the tub.

That must have been the show I saw. I didn't see the little girl holding the drawing of the tub scene instead I saw she was holding up a drawing of several stick figures and she was talking, I assume explaining what she had drawn. She was @ six years old with two braids and pom poms on the ends of each. I could tell that child was loved. There was some film of what looked like this same girl but several years older eating at what looked like a fast food joint or a cafeteria. Both videos showed an animated happy child.

I don't know how much this six year old remembers about the day her mom died. Kids can be very resilient. I don't know if at that young age even realized the severity of what she saw, after all she ran yelling to the neighbors that her dad needed help. Not her mom needed help. Maybe she thought her mom was fine because she said Michele's eyes were open.
