Is this Judge tutoring the defense?

I don't like him as an 'impartial' judge of a case.

Since this is a hearing to decide if Ada should testify the judge needs to be very clear on a number of things so that he can make his decision. His asking questions or wanting to clarify things is for his benefit as he alone has to make the decision as to if Ada will testify. The obvious question is whether or not Ada's recollections/memory has been tainted or tampered with.

Yes it is normal for the judge to ask ?'s. He has to rule on this so he needs to know things that the lawyers don't always bring out. jmo

Judges can ask questions, even during the trial itself. They don't do it often, but will tend to do it where there is confusion in his/her mind.

I've read the news in print since I was five. Comics, then police beat then the whole thing by age 7; and I still devour the news every day that I can. So this is also; not out of the ordinary and shows this def atty is living a cloistered life. His questions prove that...TO me any way.:facepalm:

I AGREE; and I feel he is a very bad judge. Very immature, and also not so law savvy. He hasn't made me fall over like Judge Fidler did....and that's a fact.

He is too conservative for me. And siding with the defense too often. This is not an impartial trial so far imo.

He claimed he found his brother in the tub and that both of his wrists were bleeding in an apparent suicide attempt. Martin told (the woman) that he pushed the head of his brother under the water and drowned him," the affidavit states."

Do you guys think he really cut his wrists himself, or that MacNeill did it to try to make it look like he was committing suicide?
