First thing that popped into my head after watching about 10 minutes of Gypsy was that she obviously relies a lot on her..."upper body".
Too bad that won't last much longer, I think she is already rolling past her peak, so to speak.
:naughty: OK sorry, not supposed to get personal here I know, but since she is using her assets on the stand I think we should be allowed to discuss!

I do not like her attitude though. She is trying to play the jovial, agreeable gal, and it is not working (at least with me). I am looking forward to them getting to the meat of this testimony, hoping it will show us the real Gypsy and reveal her involvement.

:silenced: I want to say so much more but I do not want to go on vacation so I will SHUT IT

I hear ya. I Hope the prosecutors go at her Mach 90. Even if they do it wont rattle her. IMO she is a Sociopath. Karma may catch up. One day.

These prosecutors don't appear like they have that gear :). They appear very kind, in their manner, tone and treatment of opposing attorneys. A little infusion of Juan Martinez might help them. As Minor 4th posted, Gypsy was not exactly forthcoming and was hedging. Hopefully, they know how to deal with witnesses like her. IMO

:floorlaugh::floorlaugh:

Thanks for that, Bravo!

Your welcome. It's just how I roll here and in life. Humor truly is the best medicine.

Question: For those of you have watched a lot of trials, can you tell when a witness is being deceptive?
Having watched a lot of trials and deceptive witnesses, can you tell when people are being deceptive in real life?

I have not watched a lot of trials nor am I very good at telling whether people are lying or not. Well, unless of course the stories make no sense or my children tell me the dogs did it.

I hear what you are saying but Gypsy is not the one on Trial. As much as I would luv to see her ripped a new one it really doesn't affect the case. Much. IMO. I think we will see the fireworks when the Defense is up. I think they will try to spin it you could have done the deed. Perhaps the Prosecution is taking the right stance right now. IMO. I am quietly waiting for the Defense to have at er. IMO the Prosecution knows where they are going to go with her.

I just come in this trial this week. Can someone tell why a plea deal was made with Gypsy?

I don't know the whole story. I know she was his mistress, but trying to figure out why I seen her in some shots in jail clothes? T.I.A.

You are an awesome poster who I always read. I don't have a clear cut answer. I just rely on the Court to bring the evidence forth. Of course I read what does not make it in to Trial. I personally study autonomic responses. They are very telling. They tell me who exactly they are as a person. Not so much what they have to say. Mostly I study those responses from the accused who rarely testify.

I wish I could tell you. In the fraud charge Gypsy got a deal. Apparently. I was surprised to learn that today. I know she did some Jail time and Probation. What the deal was I don't know. I do remember thinking given what she and Marty did she got off light.

Zuri, there is no one way or more to know.

As a watcher, I don't know the person and their"tells". You know, when you know someone and they look at the ground rather than you, or the mumble a lot, or say Umm a lot and take too much time to answer while looking around. Whatever a tell is for each person, I cannot say if I do not know them.

I think, JMO, is what a juror should see is if the witness is changing the story via prosecution and defense questioning. That is the best anyone can do. If they are shifty in the story. And watch emotional shifts.

Go with the gut after all is said and done, and the analyzing you can take, then gut instinct nags about it all.

I really don't know. I don't think there is a "tell" just a listening and how a juror feels about it.

All MOOOOOOOOO......

LE trick: Truthers convey, liars convince.

There is a technique known as "statement analysis" which is very effective at sifting out truth from lies. Look it up online. I'm not an expert but reading a little about this has really helped me in judging whether a person is being honest or deceptive on the stand. Hope that helps : )

This is helpful thank you. I am very gullible and typically believe people when they say things. I just wondered, since you all are veteran trial watchers and very smart and intuitive, if there is something that you see that translates to real life. Thank you so much for answering my question. :seeya:

Thank you for this recommendation. I just looked it up and bookmarked several sites. Really appreciate it

In reading your posts you have much to offer here. Go with your gut and your heart. That will be the truth. Your truth. Yet it may not be the outcome. Sadly. IMO it's not always a search for the truth. It's about winning. Take care of you. Court is brutal when emotionally attached. It is about fact finding and no room for any emotion. Do you have a good support system in place?

Don't sell your self short. Your posts reflect a very smart educated person. You will know. Follow your heart. As I said not that the Court case will. You have excellent skills.

ETA- wrong poster it was directed to as far as a court case

Thank you SO much for this! Brilliantly done! :seeya:

Agree the timeline is great, but it does show he had very little time, if he did kill Michele. If Michele hadn't spoken to Alexis that morning, I'd swear she died much much earlier and maybe even late the night before.

She acted as though she had no idea what he was up to; the innocent bystander. IMO she knew everything. We know she knew of the plastic surgery before Michele did. She told a friend she wanted to cut Michele's brakes. Now butter wouldn't melt in her mouth. Blah.

I agree she is a Sociopath and I think was privy to much. Much more than will ever be testified to. Karma will get her one day. IMO.
