Just a comment but there is no way a woman who has had a facelift is going to hang her head over the tub to wash her hair. IMO the less painful way would be with her head facing up and someone helping. Wouldn't the stitching get wet also if one is bent forward over the tub? It would be very painful to hang her head after all that surgery. That alone doesn't add up. IMO.

Also, Alexis testified she had helped her mom wash her hair, although I don't remember what day she said that was. But I would imagine she probably did it shortly before she left town so her mom wouldn't have to attempt it on her own too soon.

I can understand a little bit how Gypsy ended up with her personality. I like the mother in her honesty but she does seem to be preoccupied with someone's status and credentials. Mrs. Willis no not everyone is impressed with letters after someone's name I think the goodness in a man's heart is far more important. Just me.

I took this to be a little different. IMO Vicki approved of Martin, in the beginning, not specifically because he was a Dr and a Lawyer but because of the other men that Gypsy may have had in her life in the past. In other words, Martin was a better "breed" than the other men had been. We don't know what kind of men Gypsy had in the past, such as if they were abusive, would not work, or many other things as well.

MOO

Good Lord. HLN still has Gypsy's mom on the stand? Do they not realize they could speed things up considerably by not recapping what was just said and previewing what's coming up coming and going for each commercial? The commercials are bad enough.

In reading the affidavit, Michelle was noted to have lividity on her back and legs, indicating Michelle was on her back in the tub, and that she was there for some time. I didn't recall how proximal the toilet was to the tub, if it was ever even disclosed. MM could have propped her on the toilet, taken off her pants and then put her in the tub. IIRC, the neighbors husband who assisted in getting Michelle out of the tub, that there were a lot of wet towels. Could the wet towels have been used to hinder her breathing and provide a buffer for handprints? I just find this part very puzzling. I am missing something.

Sounds feasible, but fibers would have been found on her face if that was the case, correct? And it seemed that all that was on Michelle's face was foam from drowning?

ITA. But can't you hear a lot of mothers of that age group saying "Why can't you find a doctor or a lawyer to marry?" Perceived status is everything to some. Goodness trumps those letters after a name for sure. :seeya:

Thanks for catching that. For sure a Daughter would do that for her Mom.

You are probably right. Do you think that the ME may have overlooked or missed things because the victim's husband was a doctor? I just get the feeling MM manipulated absolutely everybody in his path, including the ME. When I read that MM offered 10K to the ER doc to have him continue CPR, I spit out my drink. Like money would keep the ER doc from doing what needed to be done. In
all the years I worked ER, no one ever questioned any of us whether we hadn't done everything we could to save somebody, let alone offer us money. :ohdear:

Agree. Mom stated in her Interview. Link is somewhere here that Gypsy didn't make good choices with men in the past. (Apparently didn't with Martin either)

I think things were overlooked. I think Martins word went much farther than my own would. Yes had to be insulting to offer $ to say the least.

I have to say Martin may have come out of this totally clean had he went with a suicide. Left out the tub altogether. Michele had all those drugs available. Oh I have been having an affair and told Michele. Yadayadayada........

Sadly, I'm a little worried he will still come out clean. I just don't think the prosecution case is very strong right now. :sigh:

I have always been of that opinion. I think there is a high, high likelihood that MM will be found NG.

I hear ya. Hang in there Sista. Now I keep thinking about the Scott Peterson Trial. All completely circumstantial evidence. No real DNA etc. etc. Martins own words are now exposed as lies. Peterson got the DP. That's what I'm hanging on to :please: (Trying not to even think about the Pinellas 12)
