Is he trying to imply that she manufactured evidence?? :banghead:

I'll google. :)

I know this guy is trying to impeach Alexis, but she is standing her ground. She is not lying and I hope the jury sees this. She is calm. She is not getting flustered. Her answers are consistent and logical.

For Petes sake, who cares what kind of notebook she wrote down the medications on. The defense seems to be grasping at straws.

We will see what happens, but I wouldn't be surprised if the Defense attorney bringing in testimony about Alexis' bringing legal action against her father may have been a mis-step.

They may have 'opened the door' to something they will regret. We shall see.

I feel sad for Michele and the life she lived. IMO Martin was controlling thru out their marriage. I think Michele was content to being a hands on Mom and being involved in Committees that interested her. IMO Martin had her so worn down by the latter part of their marriage she was easily manipulated into getting the face lift. Perhaps wanted to try to keep the Family together. I don't doubt he was verbally abusive over the years. I can only imagine how Martin threatened her if she ever expressed a desire to leave the marriage. I'm sure Michele witnessed the dark side of her Husband and would avoid going there. Classic abusive relationship. (All my opinion and thoughts) So very sad.

Thank you, Judge, for the interruption.

The judge interrupts for a stand and stretch break! :judge:

Wildattrial has had the same gross looking big toe in an advertisement for nail fungus I have ever seen in my life. Everytime I glance at it I think of MacNeill's soul.

I know it is sooooo gross. Not much grosses me out. That!!!! Yes.

How much longer will they go today?

Wild About Trial @WildAboutTrial
Judge calls for a 1 minute yoga routine before continuing on with more Alexis testimony in the #MartinMacNeill trial.

Sometimes these tweets are the best thing about the trials...

I can only hope that since Alexiis holding her own and sticking to the truth as she knows it that the state is letting this witch hunt continue.

Yep, makes the defense look like bad guys... and she is certainly holding her own.

I'm glad the judge stepped in to take a break. I think this attorney could badger for days.

They have only been going until 3:00 their time. So about another 45 minutes if that holds true.

From this article in Desert News:
http://www.deseretnews.com/article/...death-accidental-or-was-it-murder.html?pg=all

Rachel remembers her father threatening to commit suicide many times.

This was while they dated:
Martin had told Michele he loved her so much and couldn't live without her — even once putting a gun to his head and telling her he'd kill himself if she stopped dating him.
Martin threatened to kill Michele and himself with a butcher knife after she caught him looking at 🤬🤬🤬🤬🤬🤬🤬🤬🤬🤬🤬 in August of 2000.

It's extremely toxic and abusive. I know he is a good con, but there must be records of some of these incidents.

I don't know how they were able to adopt children when MM had records. It would be impossible here in Norway.

Yeah, I'm sure Alexis would tell the ME on the speaker phone "I think my dad killed my mom, can you check for her having too much medication on board??"

  • #336
Why would Alexis tell any of them about the over-medication? Should she have expected them to send a nurse to the MacNeill home to watch how many pills he gave her?

  • #337
I think the Judge keeps a good eye on the Jurors and notes when they get restless. Nice he considers folks need a few minutes here and there.

I'm watching jurors yawning, shifting in seats, rubbing eyes. This is NOT good for the defense. @fox13now #MartinMacNeill #MacNeillTrial

Crossing all my fingers and toes. Don't think I can listen to much more of this.

 Susan Gustin asked me this. Spencer (:oddsmiley:) says Suzanne. Alexis says whatever her name is!
