Inmate P's testimony is consistent with the 2 inmates from Federal Prison. Wanting a deal for testimony cannot change that. He was not in Federal Prison with the other 2. That is how I would look at it. Unless defense has proven contact between all the inmates, they cannot all have come up with the same story.

This, absolutely this! The whole using the B word when referring to his wife, etc... way too many similarities and I think these witnesses are being truthful. I hope the jury sees it your way.

Does anyone enjoy probation? Would it really be surprising that someone would not want to be on probation, or be glad when it was over, talk to his spouse about it?

I'm not so sure about that - I could see the defendant bragging a bit to inmates - after all what fun would it be to get away with murder if no one knew, and who's going to believe inmates?
So far, the inmates have seemed consistent - they all found MM unsettling.

Some minimal bragging yes, I'd expect that but with this man? I just don't see him seriously admitting anything to these men. I believed their testimony, if that makes sense it's just that according to the first three he didn't say much. It's iffy...

Really? I think he is big con! I give him less then 3 months before he back in jail. Its sad to say......but change is hard and takes a lot of hard work.

You never know with juries. Usually inmates are lying to get a deal, but that is usually b/c they could be facing the murder charge themselves, or something to do with the crime at hand. In this case they are not. So, who knows?!

What did the tape recording have to say?
