Borrowing without permission is stealing, right?

Is that what the defense asked the witness?

Too bad he didn't answer 'yeah sort of like drowning someone without their permission is called murder, right?'

What does GPS mean? Or, am I misunderstanding what he is saying? Thanks.

Tracking device on him. Ankle monitor or some such thing. I think?

:floorlaugh: but think of that poor snowman with no nose?

IMO Spencer should pick his battles more carefully. Instead of debating every nuisance, every small infraction, every bleeding detail select a few that will clearly show what the witness character/moral/ethics are. Instead he tries to make every little inconsistency as if he has found the true killer. And he is on the stand!!! What a ham :banghead:

He seems to do that all the time, going for quantity over quality. But by the time he's done, you can't recall whether there was actually any wheat among the chaff.

Shut up Spencer

  • #247
Ding ding ding, what happens if he does it again? That's going to be a sticking point with the jury, IMO.

  • #248
OK, this guy is believable.

Jason didn't want to live with knowing what he knew and not coming forward because it was morally wrong

No jason did not get the deal he wanted

Jason feels this is important information.......

Thank You, Thank You,,,,,JASON

Spencer would be wise to not ask the witness anymore questions after the State is done with redirect.

Jason got next to nothing in return for his testimony. He knows his morals are not on par, but he does know that murder is a whole other ballgame... MOO

I bet he make the rounds doing interviews now. JMHO.

This is one of prosecution's best witnesses...imo

  • #255
Yes Martin, you are now in deep doodoo as this witness is coming across as completely believable, just like your daughters did.

  • #256
are there any promises you are hoping for after testifying

No, only what is in the immunity agreement

jason has not been promised that he will not be prosecuted

jason is uncomfortable with being there today but he felt he needed to testify

jason may lose customers due to him testifying

he wants to turn his life around....

marty benefited (a %) from Jason's wife putting $$ on marty's account

he could not try out for baseball team due to age/eligibility

he needs to go play junior college first

jason is aware that if he is lying that he could be charged with perjury

jason did not make up any information that marty told him

jason did report what marty said hoping it would help his case but knew that it was the right thing to do

If I put myself out there like he did I would too :twocents:

Dumb move Spencer, IMO. Spencer should have stayed in his seat and not asked any more questions.

  • #259
No wonder the prosecution did everything they could to get him on the stand.

Of course, Spencer has to start up again. Nitty-pickity again.

Hey guys, I haven't been posting much, but been following along! I can't help but believe this guy. He is really not all that happy to be there, he really didn't gain much from it and seems like he will lose more than gain anything. If I was on the jury, I would be believe him.

oh andddd could the Defense have dragged on any longer than they did? geesh

interesting question the prosecutor just asked, saying if there was a recording we'd see his hands go up like this? do they have the video????
