In an affidavit for a warrant of arrest, a witness stated that Youngman was arguing with Ana Maria Zaragoza, 37, at a nearby apartment before the shooting.

The witness told police that Zaragoza drove a silver Nissan Altima and “parks in a particular spot when she visits the apartment,” according to the affidavit.

“A witness heard the gunshot, then observed someone walking away from where it appeared to have occurred,” the affidavit said. “That person entered and drove away in the vehicle that (Zaragoza) was known to drive.”

The witness also provided surveillance video of the Nissan leaving the scene of the shooting shortly after the gunshot was heard.

During a police interview, Zaragoza “admitted to shooting (Youngman), after (Youngman) made threats towards her. (Zaragoza) admitted to discarding the pistol that she used to shoot Nakeena, then discarding her cell phone,” according to the affidavit.
