People were earlier saying AW was wearing a suicide vest... so this is what they think he was wearing then?

Yes, used all the time.

He could have used the skateboard as a weapon. The trucks (the metal parts that hold the wheels) are pretty heavy. I just knew when I used to skate, that was our go-to potential weapon when in dark, unfamiliar areas or bad parts of the urban landscape.
Wasn't it said that the skateboard was still at his sister's house and that he had not taken it with him?

There are a variety of suicide vests.

I don't know the specific manufacture or style AW is wearing.

I posted a link of an example of one and details.

Wow, this is wrong on so many levels. Talk about click-bait!!! Yes, please read the Father's comments IN CONTEXT on facebook. I'm going to personally send a comment to this reporter's editor.
Dailymail is sort of known for this. A bit tabloid-sequence IMO. I also think it explains some of Dad’s reaction. I would be very upset to be portrayed in this innacurate way.

If he used it as a weapon I would think he would take it with him. I would like to know what alerted mom that something was wrong when she woke up, other than the fact her kid was missing.

He only said they did not currently have evidence of a SA. That does NOT mean to say one did not occur. They have not found her so they have no way of knowing without appropriate evidence telling them so.

Yes, that is true. I was just speculating that semen would be evidence of a SA, so the DNA found linking them may have been blood.

yes and I wonder if her clothing has been thoroughly tested already for evidence? I realize they can't release too much info. JMO

Oh heavens I really do wish they'd find Lizzy! I don't understand where he could have possibly hidden her in the wee hours of the night. Was it a full moon?

Uncle was also missing and probably not returning calls?

No evidence of a sexual crime. Sounds like blood from both of them was found then, if there is DNA linking them outside the home and it isn't semen.
I missed the PC and going on posts covering the PC. Was it stated that there was no evidence of a sexual crime?

The moon was waning on the 25th....no full moon.

  • #673
I believe it was just stated they didn't have evidence in hand of sexual crimes

I don't have the link handy but in the early reports it was stated he had no phone and could not be called.

From my hearing, he said DNA evidence. People are assuming blood (imo).

jmo

I don’t know why he would bleed, personally.
The arrest report didn’t indicate he had any trauma.
I think you did a great job! Ty ty ty

His burner phone was found in the house.

His burner phone was found in the house.

I know, I was just responding to that he could not be called and why. We later found that a burner phone allegedly was left in the home. Either way, the mom, etc. could not call him from what we understood if I recall correctly?

Agree, in other words :)

His burner phone was found in the house.

Interesting. He either left it intentionally or....he was in a big hurry to get out of there and just left it.

5/28/19 Logan PD Chief Gary Jensen conducted presser:

AW was apprehended about 10 miles from the residence--arrested on outstanding warrant. AW has no history of crimes against children, abduction.

LE has evidence that Lizzy is hurt/injured

Surveillance proves AW did NOT have a backpack.

Surveillance provides AW likely walked to where he was located.

Chief does not consider the baseball bat evidence for Lizzy

Evidence [related to Lizzy] was found with him (AW)

Chief responded "NO" to question if a sex crime.

AW arraignment at 1:15pm today

Recap my interpretation only.
