VA - Amy Bradley - missing from cruise ship, Curacao - 1998 #3

Agreed! I wonder if they will delve into the suspected reason(s) for her kidnapping beyond the common assumption of sex trafficking.
That's an excellent question. Really, that is one of the biggest hangups for a kidnapping: Motive. Of course, it's possible that it's "sex trafficking", but one would hope that there would be some good commentary around that, such as "why Amy"? Why a young woman who was traveling with her family? And as far as the location of a cruise ship, I get the opportunities at sea, such as the lack of jurisdiction of the U.S., etc., but there are virtually no other such cases that we know of. It kind of blows that apart.

So, if indeed this was a kidnapping, again, can we finally get some details around why she, of all people, would be targeted and, if not for sex, then for what? Because it seems like there was serious consideration of that possibility by the FBI. Let's have some answers, please, even if we can't, ultimately, find Amy. It's hard to understand even how to look for her if we can't have a full picture of why/how she went missing.

Just blowing off steam here. Poor, poor Bradleys.

Maybe the family's insider, that was very active message boards in the 2010s, will make cameo and reveal themselves finally.

They gave a lot of good inside information (assuming they are legit).

Do u mean 2012???? There weren't a lot posts in 2010....
Thread #1 post #30 first post of 2010 was in Jan thru to post #55 was last post in (Dec) 2010....

Was the unverified "insider" screen name Find Amy? (<they r now listed as Inactive FWIW) They only posted in 2012....

Tara bull, I do believe that is who gray Phantom is referring to. Find Amy was a verified insider here early on. For some reason, I was under the impression that she/he was a friend of the family versus a PI or something. I could swear I read something like that, but at this late date who could remember?

What's interesting is it seems FindAmy was not a verified insider...as it's not noted under their screen name.

ETA: I can see why people made the connection to the
family tho based on their last post
....maybe "VI" was removed when they became inactive, but why become inactive....Amy is still missing.
Hmmmm.

Yes, FindAmy.

The majority of their posts on WS were deleted, there used to be much more in 2012. They were also active on several other crime message boards.

Hmmmm.
They were verified as an insider by the mods on WS back in 2012. As I said above, lots of their activity on WS was nuked.

Hope they interviewed the Canadian scuba diver(s)??? Was that singular or plural???
David Carmichael was the Canadian scuba diver that saw Amy at Porto Marie, Curacao in August of 1998.

William Hefner was the Chief Petty Officer that saw Amy at the Stelaris Hotel in January of 1999. Amy identified herself to him and asked for help. He has never been interviewed for any program concerning Amy in the past, I'm pleased he agreed to be interviewed for this.

I'd wait until the special airs before feeling bad for them. JMO

I believe back in 2011-13 the consensus was that it was Brad Bradley but I might be wrong. "amybradleyismissing dot com" is run by the same person. Who knows. 'FindAmy' was verified on WS. The account posted a ton of really, really out there ideas and most of it has been taken down.

They had alot of very insightful information that helped fill in the gaps for the case.
