That's an excellent question. Really, that is one of the biggest hangups for a kidnapping: Motive. Of course, it's possible that it's "sex trafficking", but one would hope that there would be some good commentary around that, such as "why Amy"? Why a young woman who was traveling with her family? And as far as the location of a cruise ship, I get the opportunities at sea, such as the lack of jurisdiction of the U.S., etc., but there are virtually no other such cases that we know of. It kind of blows that apart.Agreed! I wonder if they will delve into the suspected reason(s) for her kidnapping beyond the common assumption of sex trafficking.
So, if indeed this was a kidnapping, again, can we finally get some details around why she, of all people, would be targeted and, if not for sex, then for what? Because it seems like there was serious consideration of that possibility by the FBI. Let's have some answers, please, even if we can't, ultimately, find Amy. It's hard to understand even how to look for her if we can't have a full picture of why/how she went missing.
Just blowing off steam here. Poor, poor Bradleys.
