I had hoped for a match of our UID with Connie, as it would solve two cases and give Connie's family some answers, but at least now we are aware of Connie's story and maybe something good will come of this for her family.

As depressed as it sounds like Connie was in 1974, if she did ever commit suicide, I tend to think it would have been more likely back then than 1996, but who knows? She could still be alive and kicking somewhere today. Lots of people have walked out of their old lives and lived long lives as somebody else.

We didn't have Connie's vital stats when we started looking at her, and the reported stats are still second hand, so I'm taking them with a bit of salt until there's an official ruleout. If it's not Connie, I think we're looking for somebody very like her -- intelligent, independent, and competent.

I agree With Carbuff! We cannot really rule her out just yet in My eyes. Looking forward to hear back fr.o.m. The person that contacted the documentarian about getting DNA fr.o.m. Connies brother. If not her she might be another unidentified person. Considering how many many people that has been ruled out do be our christmas tre lady we need to turn every stone. I Also believe that if not Connie someone With a similar story.

I think it's because she reminds me of my ex-BFF's mom, whose name is Carol and is still alive and well.


Also, Tss -- I find females named Amber have a very specific look. And Train Jane had that look.

How about "Coyle"? This woman was so meticulous in the way that she thought everything through that I think her choice of where to carry out her suicide is key to figuring out she was. The description of where she was found and the fact that a drifter would not go there stresses it's importance. Has anyone looked into the history of this area? It's quite interesting and the Gooding family owned a cemetery very close to where this person was found. Here are a few links if anyone is interested in looking into this further:

I contacted via email the detective working on Eva's case. There are so many similarities that I thought I would be remiss in not having it checked out.

Other than the weight and a couple of inches in height the UID appears to be a match to Eva....Especially the nose and hair. Those who have seen the postmortem image say the UID appears older than what the reconstructed image looks. Eva was in her 70's

The UID hair was most likely dyed as it was a copper color. It shows a bald spot on the right I also noted baldness on one of Eva's photo. Her son said she was had bald spots and sometimes wore a wig.

I noticed that Eva wore a ring, a watch, and a beaded necklace or chain in one of her photos, the UID had a watch, ring, and a metal beaded chain.

In one photo of Eva it appears she is wearing clip on earrings. The UID wore clip on earrings.

The UID left 2 $50 bills to pay for cremation...The bank usually gives $50 bills..Eva was known to carry her money in bank envelopes but none were found in her purse.

The UID chose a cemetery to commit suicide. Eva visited family at the Indiana cemetery often and enjoyed the serenity there and disappeared there.

Yes I noted the age difference as compared to the reconstructed photo..I have not seen the pm.but Carl and astridxx have said the pm photo showed her skin as 'saggy'...I am thinking the UID is older than the recon leads us to think...
