BL spoke of how Aveion could not regulate his body heat......OMG. :furious:

And the step-father said: "whoever has my son, please keep him warm!" :furious: :furious: :furious:

Doesn't it just burn you up!

I really have to wonder if BL wasn't sleeping all day and didn't feed Aveion when he needed to be fed...didn't keep him warm and dry...

I kind of feel like this was a neglect situation and that's one reason LE is calling this a 'death investigation'.

That's JMO...I may be totally off.

The part that really smacked me in the face when I read it was the step father saying, and I quote "and me having to go through all this, I mean I'm willing to go through this, but all I want is him" unquote. I told my husband as soon as I read this that something was not right. Any sane person who loves children and had one missing would never even THINK of themselves. I have had a gut feeling all along that little Aveion was dead but I didn't want to believe what my gut was telling me. Just thinking about this makes me feel so sick to my stomach.

IIRC....BL said he was "about to fall asleep" when the knock at the door happened. Is it possible that he did fall asleep and the kids were outside and since Aveion had this problem with body heat.....he could have died that way? What were the temps at the time?

The morning was a little chilly, but that afternoon it was rather nice - temps were in the 50's. Although as the sun went down it cooled off somewhat. I don't believe the lows were less than 40 that day, but that still would have been too cold for Aveion.

Oh me too!! Him saying," ME having to go throught this..."

What a freaking TRAVESTY!

I just received a text that said the Amber Alert for Aveion has been cancelled, any idea what that means?

edit: oops, reading back through the thread now. I was too excited that maybe this was good news :(

I just can't stop crying about this. I'm at work and I have a crew to lead but I can't hardly concentrate on my job because this is so upsetting.

I was trying to hold out hope that this horrible cycle of a caregiver harming a baby had stopped, even for just one case.. simply put, this sucks and needs to stop!!!!

Me too. I wanted SO badly to believe this was an accident and BL got scared, but now that I have read these words from Brandon Locketts mouth along with the very elaborate cover up from the story, to tying up a little 4 year old girl, I am now even doubting this was an accident. What happened to that precious baby, and WHERE IS HE? :furious:

BL HAD to have had someone come over and dispose of this child for him, or did he leave the kids ALONE while mom was gone? All restrained to the upstairs bedroom.. while he went out.

I pray they find him soon.... and I pray mom was not involved.

Why to adults keep harming innocent little children?:furious: :furious: :furious:

and why does CPS KEEP GIVING THESE KIDS BACK TO PARENTS WHO HURT THEM? :furious: :furious:

What's sad is that IF he was 'dozing off around 6:30' with 4 toddlers in the house, anything could have happened....Aveion could have drank something poisonous, fallen down the stairs, drowned in the bathtub.... -- who knows.

I'm wondering if he was sick - like with a cold or something - and with his other medical issues, died of neglect.

Altho, if that's so, why is the stepdad looking so culpable? (and I'm not so sure the mom didn't know about whatever was going on....she's guilty of something, IMO, over & above making a false report to LE.)

Respectfully snipped:

Yes - that man said it may be possible that Aveion wasn't dead when he was left for dead wherever he was left and that's it's possible Aveion died of exposure.

OMG This makes it even more horrific.

I just hope he is found soon.....

I just watched the videos again and it makes me so angry. Why doesn't BL just tell the authorities where Aveion is???

When I rewatched that video part on HLN this evening,he actually said that with purpose and looked at the camera or towards it.I thought at that point,he was somewhere where it was cold and that was a cover.

I'm ticked off about this guy and just watching NG and the babysitter said Gabriel's mother was arguing with who she said was her grandmother.I wonder if it was that Smith woman, hope they check cellphone records of who she was talking to at the time babysitter was there.Anyway,it seems like this is just an onslaught fad of lowlifes killing children.

Probably awaiting a lawyer and probably awaiting a plea deal...

I was just thinking...the Roanoke River is right across from this area, right? Well, does anybody in that area remember how high the river was that night? The snow had been melting alot and there were flash flood warnings in some areas. I don't even want to think that BL went across the road and put that baby in the river.

I know children get booboos, but on HLN when they showed a bigger sized pic of Aveion, his bottom corner lip is hurt.If this mother knows any of those children were being abused,I hope she's charged, also. It's time parents are charged with something if a child is abducted or killed, because of thier lifestyle or turning the other way.
