Still can't post to this report without cursing a blue streak, but I must say I loved this comment:
So the baby starves to death and most everyone pictured at the service looks like contestants for the Biggest Loser .
That includes his two murderers, btw.
BBM.
EXACTLY! This is what I mean.. obviously no one else was starving to death around him. Maybe that green leafy substance helps their appetite.
If Aveion became too much to care for, I'm absolutely positive that the foster family would have taken him back, if only Morgan would have offered. But there is no way that while he was in foster care, he caught up to almost normal size, and then within 4-5 months he all of a sudden lost all the weight if he was being properly cared for. It doesn't happen like that. And I refuse to believe that this egg donor didn't see what was happening to her baby. My guess is she didn't care. I still wish I knew the answer to the public assistance question. Ive searched and searched trying to figure it out. It really bothers me that IMO she only wanted Aveion back so that she could get that extra money from the state.
And if that's the case, I hope there's changes to both CPS and PA, regarding what happens when your child is removed from your care due to neglect and abuse. CPS basically said it's out of our hands once Aveion was given back to ML.
Here in NY... They'll show up with cops if you refuse to allow them to see the children. Someone needs to make sure that what these monster's did to Aveion, never happens to another child again.
The state of Virginia and the town of Roanoke should be ashamed that they allowed this to happen. There needs to be a letter writing campaign to the governor, senators, assemblymen, newspapers, and news stations... something begging for a change in how this horribly flawed system works.
This didn't have to happen to this beautiful little baby.. and even though I live in NY, I will be writing to as many people as possible in VA trying to get someone to listen to Aveion's story. I've already started collecting as many pictures as I can so that I can include them in my emails and formally written letters.
I will fight for you Aveion. I didn't even get to know you, but I will fight for you.
ETA: When I say the "State of Virginia, and the town of Roanoke", I don't mean the actual people.. (well except for ML's family.. and anyone else who saw/knew of Aveion) I mean the State, County, and Town lawmakers, the CPS workers, and the PA case workers... who didn't do more to ensure that baby's safety.
