I wonder if the FBI is involved in this. I have not seen anything along that line, but he has crossed state lines with a kidnapped baby!!

It was reported that the FBI is involved.

Danville police are working together with Virginia State Police and the FBI.

I'll grab any hope at this point. So scared for this little sweetie. Every pic I see is cuter than the one before.

I thought I saw somewhere that she was 16 yrs old. But, of course I missed that the FBI was on the case, too!

She's 16 now.

ETA: I wonder if she was very young when he took her.

The "You'll never see this baby again" makes me think he will do anything to keep Emma away from her mother and if he feels cornered, he will take her life to keep her from her mother. But then, he already did this with his other daughter and she is, thankfully, alive and well... I wonder what the circumstances of that were? Was he missing with her for long? Did he take her across state lines? Threaten her mother? ... Also, is his anger increased this time around? More determined to not give back a second child?

I don't know, I'm torn and scared for this baby.

Are there ANPR (automatic number plate recognition) cameras in the area? There are cameras all over the place in the UK which read license plates and ping the police if a wanted car passes them, certainly on main roads and around cities. I seem to recall they're not common in the US as there's so much more open space, does anyone know more about it?

So this monster is accident-prone... or something. Boating accident sends him to a nursing home. The SO registry lists scars on his head from being hit with a hammer, and also that his pinky is disfigured from a work accident.

Makes you wonder if he sustained some brain damage. Scary thought, but could explain some of his violent, impulsive behavior. Combined with his history of sexual assault, he sounds like a dangerous guy.

Praying they find him today. I was really hoping to wake up today to read he was captured and the baby saved. LE are probably swarming the area now. Wonder if US Marshals are involved? Hope so, they're really good at the "manhunt" job.
