PTSD can also be caused by childhood trauma / abuse. Did this Dr. Hughes try to differentiate? I'm assuming that she totally went off of what AH claimed about JD.

I think Dr Curry was talking about the severity of PTSD that this Dr diagnosed Amber with. Dr Curry was saying if it was as severe as diagnosed, she would not be able to function act the level she was functioning.
Ahh. I missed that, I apologize. That makes sense! Then I agree with Dr. Curry. Thank you so much. IMO.

Hughes doesn't want to admit she tailored her testing to help support AH's narrative. Sorry Dr. I think Dr. Curry had your number and now the jury does too.
It seems all of AH's "experts" are doing this to some degree. And, IMO, Rotten-borg has a cutthroat and disrespectful attitude towards the witnesses. Even to Dr. Gilbert. It doesn't set well with me, and hopefully the jury agrees.

I just want to take a moment to say how much I love Ben Chew and all the B-R crew!

ETA: I know I'm gonna love them even more at closing!

I am looking forward to reading how the jury is responding this morning. There are a few members of the "law tube" community who are present in the courtroom today.
Vinnie Politan stated that he would be there today.

I do agree that having PTSD does not mean you are disabled and unfunctioning in life. I also wondered about why Dr. Curry said that. MOO.

I have had ptsd and chronic ptsd from the disillusion of a dangerous marriage. It affects people differently just like medication does. It also depends on previous life exposure to trauma.

The range for myself was “appearing” as functioning normally to not being able to leave the house/dress for the day (not functioning-unable to). In the ‘appearing’ of normal functioning there are various things you do that no one sees. It can be less work load in a day, after leaving a meeting sitting alone to reframe your thoughts before you can go to the next task, crying, speaking with your therapist, anti-anxiety meds, a medical massage, and more to get you through the day.

It’s a fairly new condition in terms of understanding it. It’s been around since the beginning of life. At one time it was only associated with military battle.

Hopefully there will be more & more information on it, as it is truly a difficult condition.

I can't find the timestamp right now but she definitely said that AH scored way too high on the PTSD test.

Yesterday when she was talking about not being able to go to functions, parties, acquiring a sommelier license, making speeches etc.. she brought all that up because that's what AH was doing. There is context! This is about AH - I think the jury understood that. MOO

The Metadata stuff is a big can of worms, I can't recall any expert touching on it but you can actually edit the exif data with exif edit programs.

I know if I just had the hell beat out of me that left bruises all over me I sure wouldn't be able to do an interview and appear on tv the next day as if nothing happened.

All I know is that AH has about 30 mins left by now imo.
That's what I was thinking too... If Amber is going to take the stand again she won't have much time.

Their observations in the courtroom are fascinating, because we only see a,portion of it, and can’t get the “feel“ like they can

What are you opinions about Johnny's finger injury now?

  • #214
Sure has been a change in AH and how she reacts with her term...after weeks of not looking left or right she is not interactive with them especially during side bars....just like JD. I think there is a real envy thing going on with her and JD. Sad.

Exactly .. not to mention after something like she described you'd think you would be so emotionally distraught you wouldn't feel like being out in public or being around anyone other then your support system.

my reaction on the finger injury is honestly I don't know. Neither side has convinced me.
