Not happy with the CW's rationale for the coins endangerment charge. "He could have locked V in the basement, he could have chosen a day she wasn't home." How about 'he could have chosen not to kill her mother'? I know she has to defend the charge but it just felt yucky. Like somehow murder would have been OK if V weren't there.

Overall, she hit the critical points.

That was a speedy and strange closing by the CW.
No mention that lust and greed led to the murders just right to the point of the CW having the evidence to fulfill the 3 charges.

She started there IMO. That he was in love with JM and wanted his wife out of the picture so he could have a future with JM.

I think she meant he didn't sheild the daughter in the moment. If she were elsewhere, like a playdate, she still would be hurt over the loss of a mother, but not in the moment of the murders. And she wouldn't be at risk of violence or witnessing violence if she weren't at home or if the door were locked.

That's my take, fwiw.
