That is my issue with temporary worker visas in the United States. It is exploitative. The places here hire gals from El Salvador for summer season to clean hotel rooms. They get a room to share, 4 or 8 to a room. They work 8 plus hours a day. Often working at various hotels, so they are always working. Then, end of the season, go home. Or in this case, end of Au Pair contract, go home.

They don't want to go home. As we see here. Why couldn't this family have hired a local nanny? Probably because it is less expensive to exploit someone from another country.

But BB would still be plotting to eliminate her. He would not have had to pay alimony or CS being lower earner but neither could have afforded large house in DMV alone. After CB’s death BB moved in his mom + grandmother per JPM testimony. I think his mom’s partner too, all pooling funds. Jmooo. He did not want a hit to his SOL while he trolled Sugar Baby sites imo.

I would say his mother seems clueless....seeing JM move into the bedroom with him and mother moves in with partner and her mother. Is that the older lady sitting behind him in courtroom? Is that man his father or her new partner. I am confused and don't know the family history. This guy got to go down on Monday.

I think it is his father and step mother and mother’s female partner imho. His mother was a possible witness so could not be there for testimony.

I think like him rather than clueless, jmooo. Remember CB and BB met at 18 so families have known one another a long time. She did a lot that may have further traumatized V, keeping her from loved ones, and took many
actions to delay JPM taking a plea. Jmooo.

Okay I definitely hear a male voice on the recording and the only male in the room who is not incapacitated is BB. I hear on the recording "Get the knife Christie __" I cannot make out the last word. Perhaps my overactive imagination is just hearing things. I hope at some point we actually find out what the expert analyst thinks he heard. Assuming these are the words, not sure it helps either the CW or the defense.
I forget - did BB say he was in the basement with JM when the 911 hang up call was made? If he said he wasn't, then this voice analysis doesn't corroborate BB's story since this is definitely a male voice. Of course, the groaning on the call is even better evidence that this call was not made in the basement

Why that detail at all? Unless it was an oversplain, on account of the truth, if he had Christine retrieve it from the man he just shot.

Wow did not realize she was a nurse...great credentials for a nanny. I assume the extension was between JPM and the Banfields and not agency. That is lucky for them that she did not do this crime on their watch.

They extended the contract with the agency for her to be with them for a second (the max) year. Au Pairs all work through agencies.

I think BB was more than “tired of her” this was the depraved killing of 2 humans rather than accept a lowered standard of living due to divorce. He does not seem right in the head to me, jmoo.

That’s what I was told here. I thought about Christine saying to BB, he has a knife. If she had arranged the hookup, I don’t think she would have said that. Violence to a safe degree was part of the arrangement, so she wouldn’t have been real concerned about a visual aid. I have no experience with Fet life but I was told that guns, handcuffs, ropes, various knives, medical equipment, etc are not unusual in this lifestyle.

Totally agree - it wasn't just a husband tired of his wife. He wanted to humiliate and hurt Christine both physically and emotionally in her dying moments. He wanted his side-chick to be there for it and he used his daughter in the plot (and exposed her to the violence even if she was downstairs).
