Katelin’s case was the one that first brought me to be an active member of this website, and its lack of resolution has bothered me all these years. I did not really think this day would ever come, due to JB’s connections to local law enforcement—but I am so, so thankful that it did. I hope this scumsucker finally gets what’s coming to him.

I did a quick read of this case and wow- karma has finally come for this creep. I think what happened to Katelin is what happened to Charlotte Loomis. Loomis's case is very similar - her sister and her sister's husband supposedly took Charlotte to the airport but there's no record of her being on a flight.

Branton( unknown when )pulled over by police on Glade Drive. Glade Drive does not have an outlet, and his only known associate on that street was reportedly a family connected to multiple drug-related offenses.

In a video announcing Branton’s arrest on sex offense charges, the Spotsylvania County Sheriff’s Office named Akens as a victim.

“Took James Branton into custody for sex-related offenses. One of his victims is Katelin Akens,” said Maj. Delbert Myrick of the Spotsylvania County Sheriff’s Office. “Katelin went missing over 10 years ago. Spotsylvania Sheriff’s Office remains committed to bringing Katelin home to her family.”

Investigators with excavating equipment searched Branton’s rural property in Partlow. They hope the arrest will bring forward people who have knowledge that could help bring answers to Akens’ family, who live with the daily pain of not knowing.

The charges are related to crimes James committed against Katelin and her sister from 2006-2011. Best guess is this is the entry point to gather other evidence

Yeah, the the Glade drive information came from me. No one else has put that out or even spoken about it - he was witnessed speeding on River Road and then pulled over on Glade Drive. River Road was where the luggage was found.

The RV explosion while interesting happened, way too recently, for those agencies to coordinate an effort of the size that they just executed.

There was a drug bust at the end of March on Glade Drive, but that’s not the family in question. It would be an interesting theory to state that that person had information and provided it, which is what led to all of this but that’s theory and theory alone.
