Augusta County Sheriff's Office - Sheriff Donald L. Smith is looking for Khaleesi Hope Cuthriell, 3. She was last seen in February 2021 in Augusta and is believed to be w/Candi Royer, 41.
Khaleesi is 3'1 in height and weighs 40 lbs. She has blue eyes and blond hair.

Candi Royer is 5'5 in height and weighs 150 lbs. She has green eyes and brown or blond hair. She was last seen September 3, 2021 in Augusta.

ACSO says it was notified this past Saturday that Khaleesi’s mother, Amanda Arey, had placed the child in Royer’s care back in October 2020.

According to Arey, friends told her that Royer had placed Khaleesi in the care of the child’s aunt, who lives in Covington, or possibly in the care of her maternal grandmother. However, this apparently did not happen.

Khaleesi and Royer are both reported missing. Brown is wanted for multiple charges in several jurisdictions.

Virginia State Police have issued an Endangered Missing Child Alert for 3-year-old Khaleesi Hope Cuthriell from Augusta County.

No one has seen the child since February 2021. Troopers say she might be with 41-year-old Candi Jo Royer, who herself hasn't been seen since leaving her Waynesboro home on August 24.

According to a post on the sheriff's office's Facebook page, three-year-old Khaleesi Cuthriell was reported as a missing child on Wednesday.


The toddler is the daughter of Amanda Arey, who is an inmate at the Middle River Regional Jail.

I wondered that too. Did Candi hide Khaleesi from dad/ex which may be the reason for him viscously attacking her (not that I'm excusing his behavior...AT ALL )? Hopefully she and Khaleesi are somewhere safe and sound, but I wish she'd reach out to authorities to let them know. Ugh...what a mess for LE to figure out. I just hope they're okay.

With Khaleesi now reported as missing since Feb, that is 7 months. Her social media is public correct? I am curious if there may have been any references of the child on FB around that time.

I hope they are in hiding somewhere. However it is really concerning that the gap is 7 months. Very different from one or two weeks.

Candi and Travis have a daughter together who is almost 4, and reported to be with relatives. Candi’s Facebook profile is public, so you can search it and can go back to Oct (20th?) to see her announce Khaleesi joining their family, and photos of the two girls together on Dec 26 celebrating Christmas.

wow. IDK...Candi seemed to be a doting mother towards her own little girl. But who knows?

I am leaning more towards TB being the aggressor here. He may have gone on the run, and since he didn't feel he had much left to lose, he circled back to grab his ex. When he got to Candi, she had the little girl with her so he took them both?

I think they are both being held captive, if they are still with us, that is. JMO

Yes, that is worrisome for sure, that Candi claims K was taken to a family member. I'd really like to know if she herself lied, claiming to have taken her there---or if it is as you suggested.

Bringing in a 3 yr old could have caused tension, but they already had their own 3 yr old at home. So I assume it was just more work for Candi, but not all that much different for TB, then it was before K was added to the mix. IDK.

It sounds from the list of outstanding crimes, that TB had a long criminal history. I bet they were having problems before she took in K to the family. He seems like a real piece of work, regardless. JMO

Yah, I saw that about what the said to his baby girl---he is disgusting. It is hard for me to believe that Candi would go back to him after all he had done---but women do that all the time so I shouldn't assume she wouldn't.
