Travis Brown and Candi Royer arrested in Pennsylvania in connection with the disappearance of 3-year-old Khaleesi Cuthriell | WFXRtv

Two people in connection with the disappearance of three-year-old Khaleesi Cuthriell are now in custody in Pennsylvania.

Deputies say with the help of Pennsylvania State Police and the United States Marshall’s Service — Travis Brown and Candi Royer were tracked down to an inn in the Borough of South Greensburg, Pa. which is near Pittsburgh.

Pennsylvania police say the two were located at the Knights Inn at 1215 South Main Street on Sunday, Sept. 12. The two went peacefully into custody.

The two are currently being held in the Westmoreland County Prison where they are waiting for a court hearing and to be extradited back to Virginia.

When this was first posted I didn't expect this outcome - where Royer is also arrested. This is going to be something when the facts finally start to come out. I'm hoping Khaleesi is OK.

State troopers and the U.S. Marshals Fugitive Task Force took Candi Jo Royer, 31, and her fugitive boyfriend Travis R. Brown, 29, into custody at the Knights Inn on South Main Street. The couple are from Waynesboro, Virginia. Investigators found drugs and checks that were stolen from Virginia.

Cuthriell was placed in the care of Royer in October 2020 by her mother Amandy Arey, who was in the Middle River Regional Jail. Arey was later told that Royer gave the little girl to the child’s aunt. Investigators were unable to find Cuthriell and friends of Royer said they had not seen Cuthriell with Royer since February 2021.

I am afraid this may answer that question:

"Marshals raided a hotel room at the Knight’s Inn in South Greensburg. According to court documents, they had to break into where Brown and Royer were staying after the two refused to open the door.

Once inside they found 29-year-old Brown and 31-year-old Royer as well as what officials describe as multiple checks allegedly stolen in Virginia and “two large rocks of methamphetamine.”"

U.S. Marshals say they found Travis R. Brown and Candi Jo Royer and suspected meth. Investigators say they also want to talk to the two about a missing 3-year-old girl.

ETA people are commenting on the Augusta Co Sheriff’s FB that Khaleesis father is claiming she has passed away, take that for what it’s worth.
I don’t have anything to add to the discussion, just my sadness and anger over whatever we are going to learn in this case.
As I read the local news story about the missing girl last week, the first pic is of Khaleesi. An absolutely adorable smiling little girl. Then I read that nobody has seen her since February and she’s just been reported missing. Next is a pic of Candi, and we know where this is headed. She clearly has drug issues just from her appearance. Then we read that the birth mom is in jail and gave her daughter to this woman. Scroll down and see the pic of the boyfriend, and the only reaction one can have is they definitely killed that child, and nobody noticed for over 6 months that she’s missing. I expect to see pics of their house and it’s going to be a hellhole.
Why do methheads continue having multiple kids they can’t take care of? I think there’s so many Khaleesis out there that the state can’t keep up with them, otherwise how do you explain VA being ok with handing over custody to a 31-yo (or 41-yo?) with 6 kids and a violent criminal boyfriend?

I don't always think they want to have more kids, but rather they get reckless with drugs and don't take precautions. Also who knows how well birth control works when mixed with various street drugs. We know it is less effective with antibiotics...

I am in recovery and some how managed to take my birth control and thankfully never found myself loaded and knocked up. I don't know if I'd call that scientific proof of birth control be more or less effective. But I would like to add my two cents: I do have a little experience and have spent many years where most of my friends were addicts in active addiction. Many of these junkie friends were junkie parents. Some were good parents, that is when they were attentive. All were neglectful, how could they not be. Some, not many were very neglectful. Should any active addict have children, I don't think so. There were times I probably shouldn't have had custody of my dogs. But the evil that causes a person to do evil things to children isn't because that person is on drugs. Most likely those people are on drugs due to the evil that resides in them. Addiction sucks, it's hell and sure I could have choose not to party in highschool, but by the time I was doing what junkies do I was way past choosing. I guess what I'm saying here is not all addicts kill kids. Most of them are amazing human beings. Addiction sucks.

on one of her FB accounts it said she was 41. But I have seen in the news articles it said she is 31. But she looks more like 40+ for sure, imo.
