God I hope not..her mom is in jail, for what I don't know, but hopefully getting her act together to come home and be a mother to her daughter..entrusted her with friend she must have had trusted deeply..and? I don't think Candi went willingly, this time, but maybe she has a history of her own of unsavory behavior..moo..and TB, in his mugshot, looks like a fifteen yr. old tweerp. At no point did these women think of hitting in the head with a bat or shovel..I'm just so sick of these types of men

Candi’s Facebook profile is public, so you can search it and can go back to Oct (20th?) to see her announce Khaleesi joining their family, and photos of the two girls together on Dec 26 celebrating Christmas.

Khaleesi joined the family in Oct and there’s photos of her in Dec at Christmas on Candi’s page…by chance did anyone notice about the time Candi no longer shared photos of Khaleesi on her fb page? Just curious to this time compared to when the child was last seen, etc…

Breaking down LE’s statement concerning Khaleesi missing:
Amanda Arey reported that she placed her daughter, Khaleesi Cuthriell, in the care of Candi Royer in October of 2020. She was assisted by social services to establish a written diversionary agreement.
Diversionary Agreement- is this the same as a Kinship Diversion or Kinship Care?
This MAY be why officials were unaware that Khaleesi was missing until recently (once Candi disappeared). CPS or DHS wouldn’t be as involved as far as frequent visits and welfare checks on the child. IMO…(not that it makes any of this right or ok)
Arey told responding deputies that she was told by friends, that Royer had placed her daughter in the care of the child’s aunt, who lives in Covington, or possibly in the care of her maternal grandmother.
The mother was told by friends that they believed the child was taken to an aunt or it may have possibly been a grandmother. Not that this isn’t alarming or worth checking into because it certainly is, esp when dealing with a child, but that statement makes it seems as these friends weren’t really sure if the child was placed any where or exactly with who. But, then the next line of LE’s statement reads:
Several friends and family of Royer also reported to investigators being told this by Royer, and that the child has not been seen with Royer since February of this year.
So now it’s known that Candi herself told others that the child went with a family member. (Unless everyone is being untruthful, but I highly doubt that)
Investigators later determined this to be untrue, and that Khaleesi Cuthriell’s whereabouts are currently unknown.
Now it has been confirmed that the child was never placed with the aunt in Covington, the maternal grandmother, or any other family member of the child’s. It’s also confirmed that the child is missing, but the exact date is unknown. It is shared she was last seen in February; although most likely, this may or may not be when Khaleesi went missing.

Brainstorming:
What are possible reasons Candi would tell others that the child was placed in the care of other family members?

In terms of when Candi stopped posting pictures of Khaleesi, I believe the last pictures were from the 26th, around Christmas. However, I looked a little bit more into her posting pattern on Facebook. I noticed that she only made 2 posts in February, but had made 7 in January and 8 in April. No posts were made for about a month between 2/18-3/16. Its been reported that Khaleesi was last seen with her in February - I wonder if she disappeared during this time?

Looking through Candi's photos, the last pic of Khaleesi (in the pink hat) is posted at Christmas, 2020. I am disturbed at how all the pics of her around the Christmas tree are of her hiding her face or the back of her head. One photo in particular appears to show what looks like red marks/bruises on her ear, and a possible cigarette burn on her foot. Hard to tell because of the hat, but is her hair missing? (She does not look happy at all, and it is Christmas.)

Something leaves me feeling so uneasy looking at that set of photos.

Khaleesi isn't seen in any other photos with Candi's other daughter after they opened gifts on Dec 25/26. Where is Khaleesi when the pic with the Grinch was taken on the 27th, I wonder.

Who laid eyes on Khaleesi in January and February of 2021?

My speculation is that things came to a head when she filed for the protective order and either he or she threatened to tell what happened to the little girl. Not good for her with any scenario.

And I noticed something off in those Christmas photos - are there any good photos of Khaleesi's face? I only see her daughter clearly. I'm getting a really bad vibe off the Christmas photos plus not a single other photo of Khaleesi (that I could find - feel free to correct me) after that.

ETA - @swedeheart - I didn't see your post until after I posted mine - spent too much time down the facebook rabbit hole. Unfortunately, I see I'm not crazy for thinking something was off. It's very sad - I see even more now that I've read your post.

ACSO reports arrests made in missing child case

The Augusta County Sheriff’s Office has confirmed that Candi Royer and Travis Brown have been arrested in Pennsylvania as law enforcement officers continue to search for a missing three-year-old, Khaleesi Cuthriell.

The sheriff’s office says the two were arrested without incident in South Greensburg, a county near Pittsburgh, at the Knights Inn motel. Investigators from the Augusta County Sheriff’s Office and the Virginia State Police Bureau of Criminal Investigation (BCI) Appomattox Field office traveled to Pennsylvania to contact and interview Brown and Royer.

“Our investigation into the disappearance of three-year-old Khaleesi Cuthriell is active, and continues,” said Sheriff Donald Smith. “While we are pleased that Mr. Brown and Ms. Royer are in custody, the men and women of the Augusta County Sheriff’s Office will not rest until we discover the whereabouts of 3-year-old Khaleesi”.
