I think possibly LE knows who bought the alcohol but isn't putting it out there. I would say because of the case and keeping their info private and because they're underage. I don't think LE is all that worried about where the alcohol came from, just wanted to have an idea of how much she drank and how much her judgement would have been impaired at the time she went missing. They have much bigger things to figure out than where 20 year olds got their alcohol before a concert. JMHO. Hopefully that doesn't sound snarky, it wasn't meant to be.

With all due respect, I think it is relevant and important where they got the alcohol from. What if she was meeting up with someone in the parking lot for her friends or for herself for that person to get more alcohol and that person turns out to be the perp. All I'm saying is, everything that is included in this case is relevant and okay to be discussed. And knowing myself that my sibling is Morgan's age and my sibling has a fake id. The alcohol discussion isn't being discussed to get anyone in trouble. Its fairly normal for people Morgan's age to drink alcohol..I don't know someone her age that doesn't. But I'm just wondering where they got the alcohol, what kind of alcohol, how much was bought and consumed..where it was purchased. Maybe the liquor store has footage of Morgan and whomever buying the alcohol. Even if they were drinking alcohol thats not a cause for someone to kill her or harm her in anyway. Could be that Morgan and friends asked a fellow concert goer they diodn't know to buy them alcohol or to share or something. This information could be important.

Yes, I do believe that they needed to seek that advice and don't blame them one bit.

Yes, we know the police have everything under control and that they know more than what we do. That is to be expected.

This site is for people to come and discuss whatever they would like to with a case.

Maybe your post wasn't intended as it came across - but it seems rather condescending like none of the rest of us know anything and that you get all the info before we do so you know more. Maybe you do and if so that's cool, but the rest of us still have the right to put out info for discussion.

you are right my post is not as intended as it may come across to others. Just a plain and simple post. Not condescending at all.

You're welcome!

Yes, her purse was found in a parking lot along with her cell phone with the battery missing - however it has been stated that the battery cover was along with the phone.

To me this screams that someone removed the battery - whether it was done by MH or not. And with as many people that was at that concert and people just walking around from here to there...I certainly feel like someone would have found that pocketbook a lot sooner than the next morning - however that's JMO. That's why I felt like the pocketbook was dumped at a later time.

By battery cover do you mean the battery itself? I know at least my phone has the battery and cover as one complete part. If that's the case then the phone battery could have come apart from the phone just by dropping the purse? Sorry, just trying to understand correctly!

I agree the pocketbook would have been found that night if it was there while people were still in that lot after the concert.

She could have dropped the camera at another time and someone found it. Could have kept the free camera or sold it on ebay without the memory card.

of course...but Morgan was intoxicated wanted to get away. these three guys wanted some fun, things got out of hand, then they dump her body or left her out on the road. She walked into the property fell, hurt herself died from hypothermia.

I don't think she accidently got hurt and died from hypothermia. I think she was injured from someone hurting her and I think rape is quite plausible in this case and for her not to be with her purse and cell phone gives me this conclusion.

Very good points I hadn't thought about, thank you!

This person was brought up already on this site and on findmorgan. Just wanted to let you know. But I find him quite interesting myself. Because he is a plumber and may have done work there at the farm house. HE ALSO UPDATED his sex offender registry on 1/25/10! I heard he is about 1 mile from his back door of his house to the location of where her body was found as well. I find it interesting that they are the same age as well because a woman her age would trust another peer I would think.

This is exactly what I have thought too. He does not come off as creepy in any way, like most of the RSO's you see on the site, and he is her age. Maybe when she lived in the area she knew of him, or even went to the same school?
I wonder exactly where she lived when she was in Charlottesville, and if he lived in the same area.

Just all thoughts though.

Thank you, that does make sense!

I'm still confused as to why her purse was found in the parking lot with her cell phone with no battery. I've read that others think it may have been placed there after the fact and I have to agree. A girl just doesn't drop her purse and not know it. Even if she's intoxicated. Your purse has all your indentifying info, your cell phone, credit cards etc. She should have also has her camera in that purse but it hasn't been found as far as we know, correct? You would be very careful as not to lose it. I know whenever I went out it was always something I was very careful of keeping track of. The missing battery in the phone tells me that it was intentional so that it couldn't be ping'd. I am correct that the battery hasn't been found? I'm starting to doubt that I remembered that right.

I agree with you in that a women's purse and cell phone is always with them at all times and I don't see her being that intoxicated to let something so valuable like a purse or cell phone leave her sight. I think someone forced her not to have these again.

Thank you for replying. I didn't want to argue with anyone on here at all so I'm glad that we are working well to come up with some ideas and theories because the most important thing and what we are all coming together to do is find justice for Morgan. I pray justice for Morgan is served! Its beyond me how anyone can do such a henious thing!

Could be that someone was following Morgan because he found her attractive and she blew him off and then his rage and anger came out and decided to secretly find her and waited until she went to the bathroom and realized she couldn't get back inside so he kept secretly walking behind her and she didn't realize this. Or maybe her ex, is he was previously abusive with her and he was there with other friends. I don't think it was anyone she knew persay because her father doesn't believe that is the case and everything he has said seems to come out true and he would know a lot more than we do.
Its terrible what a world we live in now..our kids can't go play outside in the front or backyard anymore without fearing someone will take our kids and do terrible things with them or walk home from school or go play with friends in the neighborhood. Outrageous!

The battery cover was seperate from the battery - 2 different pieces.

i agree thats why i believe this was planned the purse and cell phone being found where they were

Respectfully snipped:

This may have been the Dee S. who was mistaken for MH. DS was at the concert with 3 guys.

Thank you. And add that at a metal concert girls that look and dress like Morgan are a dime a dozen.

There has been no publicly released rock solid info that Morgan was ever at the concert that night. I'm not saying she wasn't there. But alot of people are stating the sightings and eyewitness accounts as fact.

i believe that.at these concerts people are going in all different directions like mob.i believe person could have somehow ushered her through wrong door.then kept on going .she realized she was outside and did try to get back in.

http://www.readthehook.com/blog/ind...fore-hitching-morgan-harrington-caused-worry/

By 9:20pm— about 10 minutes before she was last seen on the bridge— according to the police timeline, Morgan was spotted in the RV Lot, directly across Copeley Road from the U-Hall lot and adjacent to the UVA track. Her black purse, which could also be worn as a backpack, and battery-less cell phone were spotted by a passerby the morning of Sunday, October 18. Geller says the battery cover was also recovered and that Morgan’s family says the “condition of the phone” meant the battery could come out easily if the phone was dropped. Geller says there was no sign of a struggle.

Completely agree, we are all hopefully here for the same reason and that is to find who did this to Morgan and see the he is brought to justice in her name. Everyone's opinion and theories count. I didn't think of your reply as trying to argue at all, just stating your opinion. While we all have our own opinions, we can respect others as well in knowing that we are here for her and her family. I personally love to read others theories because it gives me insight into things I haven't thought of as your previous post about the alcohol did.

The battery cover was seperate from the battery - 2 different pieces.

Then I believe that was no accident and thank you for your reply!

They will never do that because a huge part of the reason there is the no re-entry policy is they do not want people going back to their cars to get high, drink or even eat out there. There is also the other security issue where they perform a cursory search of everyone who enters and they don't want to re-search people repeatedly.

That is a good point. Another member had mentioned going out to the car to get a pillow for her husband at an event there, and being denied re-entry.

It's very possible that Morgans killer has/had her camera and took it because there are pictures of him on it and could identify him. If I'm not mistaken, even if the memory card has been removed or erased, pics and info could be at least partially recovered from the camera.

If he took the battery from her phone as not to allow the pings then he probably knows a little about electronics or has at least heard about the Anthony case and her cell phone pings.

I didn't know. Is there somehow a way we can have a map to show the distance different from where the two different pieces were located.
