I think this guy and anybody who has participated in his dog fighting (any and all dog fighting ) are nothing but pieces of !!
I am not a fan of pit bulls and don't have any desire to see the breed continue however the pain and suffering these animals go through both in and out of the ring is a disgrace.

I also think Michael Vick is a disgusting, pitiful example for a human being, but I think it is a bit ridiculous to say he should be stoned to death! That's a bit drastic, IMO.

I would be delighted to see him stoned to death! Normally I wouldn't wanna watch anything like that but when it comes to street trash like Mike Vick, I'd take great joy in watching him suffer to the death. He's no human being, sometimes a person commits acts that take away your rights as a human IMO. animal torturing is definitely one of them.

However a public hanging will suffice. I'd prefer something more painful though. How about tying up Mikey in a cage and letting about 20 vicious pit bulls upon him? That would be poetic justice.

I know the laws are weak here so I am just praying he gets prison time. SOME prison time at least. He should get the max penalty which is six years. It will be a disgrace if he doesn't get prison.

oh and regarding Pacman Jones....everyone if you haven't seen his rap sheet already...check wikipedia. How is he not in prison!? And if you aren't aware about the Las Vegas incident, he should be arrested for obstruction of justice or aiding and abetting. He knows exactly who fired those gunshots (paralyzing a man in the process among others) the shooter was in his entourage, partying and sitting next to Jones all night and left with him! Hello!? Las Vegas PD? When does he get charged with obstruction?

I read all the intial articles about the charges and what dog fighting entails. I really wish Vick wasn't associated with Atlanta at all as he is a cold sore with Black Mafia connections. There is no reason to assume he has a place here for the long term. Many, many of us would rather recruit others for this high paying job. He needs to be gone. Maybe they can find someone who doesn't kill dogs or abuse women or maybe has a talent and is worthy.Just a thought.

I am sickened by the charges and if everything is proven to be true I hope he's sent to prison for a very long time. Unfortunatly we have to remember he's not the only one involved with these crimes, it needs to be banished everywhere and any person who is involved in it needs to be locked up, not just the dog breeders and owners but also the scum who bet and go to these fights. Vick is not the only guilty one, I hope many more are found out!

His mother's grief isn't associated with the brutality but the fact that her son is indicted. I am not buying into this crap. Shame on him and shame on his family. I am wondering, besides dogfighting being a felony in VA (which I think it should be in all states), what other charges can they bring against him? Can't they add animal cruelty and gambling and probably tax evasion and stuff like that, too?? Throw the book at him!!! :behindbar

OT today at work a young couple brought their dog in to get a bath. A PB. They had just got him back thanks to his chip. He was taken in 3 minutes out of their yard and used as a bait dog. This poor baby was messed up bad. He had just got out of the vets office. He had been gone 2 weeks and was so thin. His head was huge compared to the rest. It was so sad i broke down and couldnt do anything for about 10 minutes. Which is very uncommon for me. As hard as it was to tell them I told them if they ever saw aggresion what so ever, no matter how small, they must had him put down. Thankfully these people were smart and agreed truthfully. It was just a hard thing, I had never seen it ya Know!

Agreed. On every point. I will be hugely disappointed to see him come out of this with no jail time. I am also upset with the team owner. I forget where I originally saw it but Blank had reportedly been receiving letters from either PETA or the SPCA or Humane Society since 2003 that Vick was involved in this, Blank has bailed Vick out too many times. I personally think Blank helped bail Vick out of that water bottle thing that at first smelled of marijuana and then all of a sudden didn't? Whatever. He was Blank's Golden Boy and Blank was banking on him.

That story about the Pit that came if for a bath after he'd been used as a bait dog really made me cry. I can't imagine what he was put through while he was gone and what those poor people must be feeling knowing what he went through too. It so sad and infuriating. Honestly, mine don't stay outside long alone at all. I'm like the paranoid mom. Poor dog!!!
