Okay, here are all the links you want:

I can't find the link or maybe it was on the local news, but they indicated that a majority of the season ticket holders were black....when addressing the whole race divide, etc.

Re the townhall meeting in Atlanta where the vick apologists showed up and booed people who say Vick even performed a crime:
Media reaction to the Atlanta thugs:

I read every one of those links. It does not state anywhere that the majority of NFL season pass holders or merchandise buyers are black thugs.

I don't think anyone here on Websleuths has defended Michael Vick. I don't know why you attempt to twist facts in order to support your offensive beliefs.

Perhaps I mistyped....

I didn't mean that all the blacks are thugs....not at all.

What I meant was that a majority of ATLANTA secon ticket holders are BLACK and there is a population among those people that are, IMHO, THUGS. Those that showed up to the town hall and booed when Boortz said that Vick was being ill served by those out there that were saying what Vick did wasn't or shouldn't be a crime. Those are the people I speak of.

RICHMOND, Va. -- A court motion filed today says that all but one of the 49 remaining pit bulls seized from a home owned by NFL star Michael Vick at the outset of a dogfighting investigation have placement potential.

One of the dogs has a history of biting people and should be euthanized, according to the motion, which cites extensive behavioral testing done on all the dogs seized from the property in rural Surry County.

It says the dogs were put through a protocol of 11 exercises to evaluate their behavior toward humans and other animals.

 Good! I am thrilled to know they hopefully will be adopted into family situations and can experience a great life full of love.

Me too, I hope they get great homes. Some they said may even be used for law inforcement.

In some of the videos they released you could see the dogs didn't want to fight. They also showed one where they were trying to determine their "bloodlust" and one dog just kept picking her head up really high and wagging her tail while the other dog was lunging at her. Poor baby!

I also heard about some going to law enforcement as well as animal sanctuaries.
If they do adopt them out, I hope they have a severely rigorous sceening process. I could see some other dogfighting scum wanting to adopt dogs that belonged to POSVick.

I'm sorry to hear this. I think the heartbreak of this case is going to continue and I fear we're going to hear about these dogs again in the news, possibly killing another dog or worse, a person.

Yes, they said they will have a very good screening process, I hope so and I hope they do followup also. I don't think they will have any problems, they were tested by a rigorous evaluation and animal specialist and a court thinks they can be good pets.

It says 48 of nearly 60 dogs confiscated, I wonder if the 48 weren't actually fought? It doesn't state that. I'm assuming the ones that were fought and "won" were put down? A friend of mine said that there were puppies taken from the property as well. She volunteers at an animal rescue but I'm not sure where she got her info.
I'm not really comfortable with the article saying they were only observed for 2 days. If they were fighting dogs, they need to observe them for more than just 2 days.

When they break up dog fighting rings in my area, they don't adopt the dogs back out - even if they are just puppies. I think it's just a sad case no matter what they decide to do. These pups didn't ask to be put into this situation.

If you put two fighting dogs together and they don't fight, you can be reasonably assured they aren't going to. It's cut and dry clear when you have a dog whose mind has been broken by fighting - they lunge at the first dog they see - it's really sickening.

I completely agree with you. Nothing but grief from these dog fighting rings.

You only agree with me because you don't know I'd take all the doggies home with me and feed them and scratch their ears until they died of old age. :blushing:

(or maybe you do know, but are shaking your head, knowing I am hopeless!)

I'll save you the long distance charges and tell you I was teasing!

However, your thought for the day is: Snuggling under a warm, thick comforter on a cold morning when you don't have to get up yet. :-)

It was the best thought I could think of this morning. :-)

Falcons will ask for return of up to $22 million in bonus money paid to Michael Vick

FLOWERY BRANCH, Ga. (AP) -- The Atlanta Falcons will try to convince an arbitrator the team deserves a refund on up to $22 million in bonus money paid to quarterback Michael Vick.

The Falcons will be represented Thursday by team president and general manager Rich McKay and three more team officials in the private hearing in Philadelphia. "I don't expect it will go beyond a day," said University of Pennsylvania law professor Stephen B. Burbank, the special master who confirmed he will serve as arbitrator of the hearing at the law school.

Attorneys representing the NFL Players Association will argue against the Falcons' claim.

Arbitrator says Falcons are entitled to Vick bonus money

Atlanta, GA (Sports Network) - An arbitrator ruled Tuesday that the Atlanta Falcons are entitled to recover nearly $20 million in bonus money paid to suspended quarterback Michael Vick.

Stephen Burbank, the University of Pennsylvania law professor and special master who heard the arbitration hearing, sided with the Falcons, who argued Vick used the proceeds from his contract to fund an illicit dogfighting ring.

That is FREAKING BEAUTIFUL. I hope the appeal loses. This is so much worse than putting him in prison. Let's face it he ain't gonna get that much time. Since he's a celebrity and popular athlete, they'll be very lenient with him and he'll probably have all sorts of privileges normal prisoners wouldn't get. He has lost so much money because of this and that's what he really cares about. Why do you think he would not admit to gambling on the dog fights (ya right he wasn't gambling suuuuuurrrrreee) because the NFL could then ban him and what is Mike Vick gonna do to make money without football? Sell crack? Taking away his money is the best punishment for a guy like that. Just beautiful. I hope they get all the money the arbitrator said they're entitled to. I'm sure he has quite a bit left even after this 20 million is gone but I'm sure it's not even remotely close to what it could've been. We already know he lost like $70 million over the rest of his contract that he's not gonna get. Now he has to give back a ton of money. He's lost nearly $100 million (maybe more) of that $130 million record deal he got. And that doesn't even include his endorsements.

Now if some drunk could just hit him on the way home instead of some poor innocent family...
