It could be that Vick will now be the starting QB for the Eagles. I don't follow football, but everyone else does here and Kolb got a concussion.

That left Vick to start the second half and apparently Vick just did a nice job. He gave the fans a reason to cheer they are saying. He took them down the field for a TD.

That amazes me. Not that the fans are pleased and yelling. Just the way the law works.

Thank you kindly for the invite, Panthera. I know nada about football save for what I hear them screaming in my house and the neighbors yelling. Childhood memories of having things thrown at us because we wore Cowboy's gear in Philadelphia turned me off.;)

Since the Bills play Philly this week someone on a Bills board posted this link; http://ronmexico.kainalopallo.com/ It's the Ron Mexico name generator.

I'm Karl Argentina

For those who've forgotten how the name Ron Mexico got associated with Vick here's a Smoking Gun page; http://www.thesmokinggun.com/documents/crime/michael-vick-hit-sex-suit

...Elliot's lawsuit alleges that Vick has used the name 'Ron Mexico' and, in a related court filing, her lawyers are seeking Vick's admission that he used the 'Mexico' alias--and perhaps other fake names--'for the purpose of herpes testing and/or treatment.'...

Devon Ukraine sounds like a sexy spy in a spy thriller to me, but I don't think I'd pull over at a strip club advertising Agnes Reynolds.

http://articles.philly.com/2011-10-...rterback-michael-vick-kijafa-frink?hpt=us_bn5

Vick and Frink came into his Delran store a month ago with their two children looking for a family bird. They decided on a six-month-old Caique, a small species of parrot - six inches tall - native to the rain forests of South America, for which they paid $1,100, he said.

I hope the family understands that parrots take sooo much time and effort! They are not just pretty statues, they require several hours of attention per day to keep them from becoming pluckers and mutilators :(

Poor bird...

I wouldn't sell Vick a pet rock...

This is very upsetting to me. Parrots live up to 60 years.

Did you see this part (note bolding) :
" Vick's fiancee, Kijafa Frink, purchased the bird for her daughters, family spokesman Chris Shigas said Thursday. "The bird is doing fine," Shigas said. "She felt he would be good company for them when Mike is traveling."

For some reason that struck me as humorous, although I agree, he should not even be allowed to have a pet rock. I also don't think birds should spend their lives in cages or even in houses...but anyway..

It will be interesting to see what kind of vocabulary this bird develops--assuming it's a bird who will pick up words, phrases, etc.

I don't even know what to say. This just makes me sick. That poor, poor bird....

I didn't think birds travel well? Maybe I am just misinformed as I've never had a parrot, couple of budgies, but no parrot.

I agree with you! I wouldn't sell that man any animal for any amount of money. Poor bird.

I have read in parrot care books that it is extremely traumatic for them to move, much less travel.
