With where he lives he may be a bushcraft hobbyist or some such but I agree on the weather as camping in this would take some serious prep.

That would seem to indicate he intended to self harm. What about his cell phone, no mention of whether he had possession of that?

True, but he may fear losing his friends and family with the charges he is facing. Fear of jail, charges, losing everything he built including his career, reputation, money. That kind of fear can create extreme anxiety and desperation quickly

My belief is that an allegation was made to the school. The school notified VSP and, pursuant to policy, placed Turner on paid leave. This likely all occurred during the day of 11/20. This is the alleged "tip off", nothing nefarious, eveything above board. I expect Turner was escorted off school property, probably discreetly. He then went home and left into the woods near his home.

Questions I have:
1. Did the football team have practice on 11/20? This would narrow down the timeline. In the absence of confirmation, I presume they did, but Turner wasn't there. I began hearing he was missing before it made the news.

2. Which family member reported seeing him leave? Someone who lived in the home or elsewhere? I'll leave it there so as not to violate TOS.

If anyone can refute my assertions, please do. I'd rather have an accurate timeline than be right.

Same, and JMO but I don't think he will be found this winter with the snow and inclement weather.

We've seen cases where the body was found in areas which had previously been searched. Tempting to think he fled and someone is helping him, but I don't think that will be the case here.
