Hey everyone. I'm sitting here while my students take a final exam. This room is so freaking hot.

Kick Back; enjoy the silence :)

I am so hopeful for a verdict today!:fence:

I signed up to get the text when the verdict is reached.

I NEVER get texts. So when it just went off, I got really excited.

Needless to say, dumb friend telling me how flat the water is today while I'm at work.

That's like waiting for a guy to call. The phone rings, your heart skips, pick it up, "Oh, hi mom....boo..hiss.."

Not necessarily .. Scott Peterson ....7 days
David Westerfield...14 days....
The Westerfield one had me really scared !

My DH bet me last night they would deliberate for two weeks, gawd I hope not. :pullhair: My bet was a verdict no later than Friday. I know, I know, I hope much sooner too.

I hope the jury gives you the best imaginable gift ever today.

Day 3 of lemon water fasting for me. I may have to break down at supper and make myself a carrot/apple/pear in my juicer. Hoping and praying today is the day, trying to remain positive but I feel if they don't do it today, then they've taken M1 off the table.

You're a better man than I Gunga Din. :rockon::rockon::rockon:

He covered circumstantial evidence which sort of covers reasonable doubt?

Beautiful Analogy too - I don't recall him going over Reasonable Doubt either, tho'.

Bard, was never meant to be used in the way it is being Mis Used today...I had DH print out BARD for me; it's over 200pgs and clearly defense teams and many others are not adhering to the law when it comes to BARD...imo.

It's beyond any thing Reasonable. And some people are just....not....reasonable to begin with.

So Kirk "knows everything about her and her circumstances"...?

Really now? You think maybe that may be THE reason he wanted off this case, Sandy?

Well don't ja know Jodie helps her fellow inmates with reading writing and she even sings to them.
Oh and that letter validates my feelings as to her mothers behaviour! In court. What a contrast from the mothers interrogation video. Reminds me of Ciindy Anthony ! You can love your child and still remain with some kind of dignity and respect for victims.

Good, I was glad to see Juan take the jury through the instructions so thoroughly :)

I'm wearing dark blue as well. I thought it was fitting.

I wasn't paying attention this morning while getting dressed, but it seems I have on a blue tshirt as well.

DH just called for any news of a verdict. He says that he senses that it will come today. I hope so. :please: I keep reminding myself that, even if they had reached a decision yesterday, it will take some time to fill out the jury forms.

The Lord has made Himself known: He works judgment; the wicked man is snared by his own devices. (Psalm 9)

What's taking so long to fill out their forms? They've been at it for nearly an hour. Oh....I hope they weren't given Jodi Arias pencils:please:
