That photo of JA dragging TA down the hallway (not the one with her foot, but the one with the severely bloodied arm). That photo is strange to me since there isn't nearly as much blood on his arm in the shoe/pant leg photo.

No. I asked about that on the Legal thread and they said no. Shame huh?

I would love to see her herded in with legs shackles and cuffed at the waist.

Fun facts! I love fun facts. :)

My grandfather said we were descended from a long line of "drunkards and horse thieves." lol

We must be related! My dad's Irish roots came from a penal colony in Australia due to stealing sheep. And they loved to drink. We're compadres!

If it's a possibility that Jodi returned the gas can to another Wal-Mart, then why didn't the defense team try to find proof? Please don't let the jury believe this nonsense!

Well folks I do not believe we get our verdict today. By the time they round everyone up to gather at the courthouse it would be close to 5pm.

Let's all hope it's tomorrow.

Has anyone here read the book, Gone Girl, by Gillian Flynn? My book club chose that book to read and I picked it up and couldn't put it down. There are so many similarities between that book and this case that I was just gobsmacked. I was hoping that someone else would post something about the book after having read it. I could list the similarities or I could start a thread, which I am reluctant to do. If a thread was started so the similarities could be discussed, there could be a disclaimer or "spoiler alert" for those that haven't read the book, but would like to in the near future.

It is currently on the NYT Bestseller List for hardbacks at #8. Maybe I am crazy, but I was just wondering if anyone else had read the book and noticed the same things that I had.

I hate this waiting!

I read that book! It was good. There should DEFINATELY be a spoiler alert though (if you start a thread), if someone had let certain things slip before I read it I would have been mad! Some similarities, one HUGE one comes to mind immediately...

I still cannot believe the prosecution did not provide details about the trigger that caused the May 26 anger. I really believe that underlies the motive. It's such a huge omission.

And I don't believe the prosecution is unaware of the details. They seemed to very carefully omit parts of exchanges between JA and TA.

This drives me crazy! Why???

The prosecution did not intentionally leave that out. They legitimately do not know exactly what Jodi did that caused Travis to say he was going to call her out to everybody she knew (paraphrasing). Chris Hughes confirmed that on the live radio show last night. They can only speculate what they think it was.

There was a ton of other compelling evidence about her motive, but they don't need to prove any of that for a conviction.

If you want to point fingers at people omitting information, taking emails out of context, and making up fake stories, focus on the defense team. They are experts.

She made it sound like this was the first clue since she was in that fog(!) that something went horribly wrong. Not like, "Gosh, Jodi. What did you cut your finger on?" jmo

Lol! not far from the... It was " oh crap" I think something bad happened

Heh heh, me too! We aren't permitted to have our phones out in the classroom, so I kept taking furtive peeks all day by slipping into our supply closet where I keep my purse/phone. Every time I saw a text banner, I wigged out! :scared:

Jodi is a pro at knife skills, tire stocks have plummeted since her incarceration.

Jodie wanted to see him suffer! I'm sure she taunted him! Cursed and humiliated him. I wouldn't be surprised if she DIDNT make him beg for his life. As she laughed and sang.

That is just so sweet, and heartbreaking at the same time.

The thought still has me smiling while my eyes are filled with tears.

Talton Hall, noted desperado and murderer, was hanged here today at 12:34 o’clock. The execution was without marked incident to distinguish it from other scenes of like character, but it removed a feeling of nervous tension that has existed here for a week.

I'm currently in Morocco, but we walked into my husband's cousin's house tonight and this was the FIRST thing I saw. I'm about 5,000 miles from AZ, but I'm hoping its a good sign, insha Allah (God willing).

I don't think it's working, sadly. But it is 2 elephants, one big, one small.

Pizza sounds good. I need comfort food too. :seeya:

Aww thanks TXProfessional! This is nerve-wrecking. I can't imagine how Travis' family feels. What torture to wait like this...

It truly is torture. :(
