I've been looking back through Jessica Taylor's thread. Interesting quote from the newsday article at the top of the thread: "Other undisclosed similarities exist between Taylor and Jane Doe No. 6 that are not apparent in the original four bodies, Spota said."

Can anyone remember which town in upstate NY that JT was originally from?

There's a post in this thread about a cousin who was traced to Wappingers Falls (and maybe Fishkill and Poughkeepsie... all are fairly close geographically). Some time ago I thought I'd found a connection to Buffalo but I no longer have notes on this so I'm very unsure about it. Maybe ancestry.com would yield correct info?? I think her birthdate is June 17 1983... but you might want to double check.

Thank you! I am wondering about a Buffalo/Niagara Falls connection for LISK. Wasn't it a Buffalo news station that "leaked" the information about the calls coming to Melissa Barthelemy's sister? And there have been some dismembering killings in Niagara Falls recently, and disappearances of petite women.

Me too.

Something about JT's mugshot... can't really explain it. While I'm sad for all the victims, there is just something about the photo that always caused me to feel such a pang of hurt... like the title of Kolker's book, I think maybe she looked like such a "Lost Girl". But, she seems "found" in the artwork... very redeeming.

It's frequently said that the police believe Jane Doe 2000 was a prostitute from the NYC area? Why? What makes them think that? Is there something about the remains or found with it that indicate she was an nyc prostitute? They think she's an nyc prostitute but they won't release the tattoo? Why? This doesn't make sense.

Can anyone who has the manorville bodies mapped out tell how close this spot is to the Jessica Taylor dumpsite? I thought JT was dumped at Hot Water St and Halsey Manor, which is exactly the description of the historical "punk's hole"

Manorville was formerly called Punk’s Hole. The hole still exists about 1,000 feet south of Hot Water Street, just east of its intersection with Halsey Manor Road where a Revolutionary War captain was rumored to have hid from the British. The hamlet was given its current name in 1844 when the Long Island Rail Road built a station at Manorville and named it "St. George's Manor". The station agent, Seth Raynor, was a patriot during the Revolutionary War, detested the label “St. George’s Manor” because of its association with the English monarchy. One afternoon, he saw his wife painting the fence at his home. He took the paint can and brush and painted over the sign reading "St. George's Manor", leaving only the word "Manor". Subsequently, it was changed to Manorville by the Post Office.

I think he was in prison at the time she disappeared. IIRC, another gal told him JT was missing.

Isn't it a bit bizzare to suggest that someone is more of a person of interest because they have a dog named Remi?

We've already established that Remi is KW (and KW confirmed that he is RemiRed69) and that JT was his angel (hense the meaning behind JT's "Remi's Angel" tattoo).

The real question for KW should be; why would the SK want to carve over a hundred incisions across the Remi's Angel tattoo?

Who hated you (KW) so much to send this symbolic message to you?

He (or they) didn't butcher that tattoo in that fashion to hide JT's identity (it would have been quicker and easier to remove it in on slice). This was a message to KW that I am confident only KW could answer.

I agree that KW holds the golden ticket (but I think he DOES know it).

Who took Jessica away from you KW?

What power does this person have that made you afraid to report her missing (or to ask her family to report her missing)?

Why do I have a very strong feeling that you are 75% to 90% sure that you know the identity of the other girl whose remains were found in both Manorville and Gilgo along with Jessica's remains?

Why were you so afraid to report her missing too?

While this post was directed to KWhite (when he posted here for a brief moment or two, and of course didn't reply), but the parts BBM have always perplexed me.

To angrily scratch out the tattoo but then dismember the body... mixed messages.

But, I suppose carving up the tatt wasn't a message directed specifically toward "Remi/Khalil"

For the sexual sadist, it's about power, control and possession. Possession can extend beyond "mere" possession of the body. Ritualistic burial in a secret site extends the sense of possession and control. At least with the G4 you can argue LISK got the thrill of knowing he was denying them a proper burial, stripping them of identification in a site only he knew about. I would not be surprised if he got his kicks driving past them on OP.

These women working without pimps are targets. They cost organized human traffickers money. I would not put it past an angry crew. It is an obvious dumping ground. Two sets of rituals here. There is m.o. and then there is ritual. The burlap seems to be part ritual. This may just be a killing field. The women and the child connected by D.N.A. throws me. Unless it is the killer own wife and child. The jewelry left on the bodies shows some sign of respect. Does anyone know the manner of death on these two ??

I heard it said somewhere that perhaps the woman had to bring her child on her "date" because she didn't have a sitter, the killer killed the child's mother and probably left the poor child to die from exposure.
