Tanya was estranged from her family, also from Tatiana's father, who LE has identified. Because she was estranged, she was not reported missing by anyone.
thats what I was thinking.....she had a job and the baby was not left in the home....I'd throw a guess that they left together same day and were separatedHe mentions that Tanya may have worked at a doctor's office, and a neighbour or friend may have watched Tatiana whilst Tanya worked. It's mostly been assumed that Peaches was a sex worker, but maybe she didn't work in that field at all.
How sad that a young woman and her toddler can disappear and nobody notices.
It does sound more like they may have been killed by someone who knew them (neighbour, Tanya's romantic interest, etc) rather than someone who preyed on SWers. But I don't think enough is known about Tanya's life around the time she was killed, she may have been doing survival SW.
Yes. The proximity from Tatiana to other Gilgo victims is the only link to RH. At this point.thats what I was thinking.....she had a job and the baby was not left in the home....I'd throw a guess that they left together same day and were separated
Tanya's limbs were found near to Karen's skull, west down the beach from where the GB4 were found. It's not a stretch to link them. RH seemed to have a thing for leaving torsos in woodland and heads and limbs on the beaches. He did it with both Jessica and Valerie only a few years after Tanya was killed.Yes. IMHOO
Considering the locations, timelines, and similarities in MO, they are almost certainly related. The authorities don't seem to have a lot of info. I'd also doubt that they'd release the sex worker angle at this point. He mentions that Tanya may have worked at a doctor's office, and a neighbour or friend may have watched Tatiana whilst Tanya worked. Yes, that’s right. Proximity x 2 + dismemberment. That’s quite a bit in common.Tanya's limbs were found near to Karen's skull, west down the beach from where the GB4 were found. MOO
I'm still not entirely convinced. The MO isn't the same if the victim profile is too different. If Tanya had never engaged in sex work and all of the other victims have, plus the additional features of her being murdered with her toddler which is something we don't see for any other victim, then I can see why other options must also be explored such as them being murdered by someone who knew them.Considering the locations, timelines, and similarities in MO, they are almost certainly related. There's no evidence Sandra did sex work either, as far as I know.I'm still not entirely convinced. The MO isn't the same if the victim profile is too different. On the fence atm, hopefully LE knows a lot more than we do and knows more conclusively who her killer was.
They don’t want to traumatize or stigmatise her or her family and friends. Perhaps thinking it will deter people from coming forward. And that must not happen. Obviously. The killer of T&T is the most vile imaginable and must suffer the consequences.I'm still not entirely convinced. The MO isn't the same if the victim profile is too different.
