Video Of Ron, Haleigh and Jr, changed some things for me, how about you?

The only thing that would change my opinion on Ronald Cummings is if he were to voluntarily, without reward or compensation, give a formal statement to police regarding the whole, unadulterated truth about what happened to Haleigh.... when, where, how, why, ...including the names of who's participated in a coverup and therefore obstructed justice... and subsuming every other detail in full truth and only the truth.

At that point, I would be able to at least give Cummings due credit for stepping up and being a man with some guts and hope that that would be the first step in redemption for him. If this - as of yet hypothetical - full, truthful disclosure to LE were to transpire, if-that-were-to-happen-and-good-grief-I'm-not-holding-my-breath, I'd gladly regard him as an individual who is trying to do the right thing for once.

The fact that some touching images exist bw a parent and children means just that to me - that some touching images exist -- very nice images. Super. Given that, I wont list here the myriad of parents for whom warm, touching, "nice" images exist who were also subsequently found to have killed their children. (...in a court of law, in absence of reasonable doubt.. by a jury of their peers... - insert appropriate legalese and disclaimers here.)

Let's face it, for the average person, happy times are the moments chosen to be captured on film for scrapbooks and family chronicles. Granted, it doesnt automatically indicate to me that those happy moments are isolated incidents, but OTOH it doesnt mean they're not either. Iow, it hardly proves to me that everything is peachy dandy, hunky-dory, Beaver Cleaver, let's call Hallmark, in the day to day family dynamics.

Also, most folks put their best face forward when a camera is around. I highly doubt Grandma or the parent would include in the Fond Memory Family Scrapbook, (to be treasured for posterity and shared with others) snapshots or video of the parent slapping the crap of a child - passing for the gross misuse of the word, "disipline" - or images of child services knocking on the front door, reading the parent the riot act, dispensing "warnings," along with candid shots of the parent with social workers inquiring as to how hard one is permitted to legally hit their child without inviting litigation and pesky repercussions.

I've never thought Ron was directly responsible for Haleigh's disappearance or that he covered up her murder, so the video didn't change anything for me. What it does, I think, is reveal how little we really know about these people, other than the caricatures that have been made of them. Most people aren't all good or all bad. At the very least, perhaps these pictures might remind people that Ron has lost a beloved daughter.

Dang, I've been appalled and disgusted from the time I found out how he went about getting the children. This is very similar to what I experienced myself in my custody hearing, that is why I can easily see how this can happened.

Ron's criminal record speaks for itself in my opinion. His current status shows exactly who Ron Cummings is, IMO. I do know for a fact that some people can be the best person in the world while they are on their "medicine" and when they are coming down from drugs, they can be a real MF. I know for a fact that you can fake happiness and a glow in your eyes when things are really, really bad in your life.

Actually, when I see the pictures of Casey and Caylee, the pictures look posed and stiff and fake. When I look at the pictures of Ron and Haleigh, I see genuine love and joy.

Yes I agree, the photos of Casey and Caylee in them, there is no eye contact, it is like Casey is using Caylee as a prop and opportunity to get attention.

The pictures of Ron and his kids tells a whole different story.

I'm a bit confused as the thread seems to be going off-topic and, although I'd love to respond to a couple of posts, I don't want to contribute further to veering the thread anymore off-topic than it already is. Your thread pertains to a video you watched of Ronald, HaLeigh, and Jr. that positively influenced your opinion/views of Ronald. You ask other posters if the video, likewise, had an impact on them but when posters answer your thread topic question, the thread then becomes, or became a platform to advance a "Ronald is innocent" message/argument. A wise person once told me, if you don't like the answer(s), don't ask the question(s)...JMO

For certain not from LE but Ronald, his momma and his grandmother through their actions or shall I say non actions and from the statements they have made in interviews have given us enough reason to suspect and believe they are guilty....JMHO

No, this video didn't change anything for me. Did the undercover drug bust videos change anything for you? Did the Cobra tapes, where Ron so casually talks about the possibility of Haleigh being eaten by alligators, change anything for you?

Something that really got to me was Ron's visit with TN in jail. I never once heard him ask about Junior. Mom, have you talked to him? How's he doing, what has he been told, I sure do miss him, I worry about him, what will this do to him. NOTHING.

As for the pictures, I can't visualize Ron shopping at Party City and buying all the little Easter Egg cups and setting all of that up. As someone pointed out, there was another person behind that camera and I'm pretty sure who it was.

When you have children, there are many sacrifices you must make in your lifestyle. I can't see that Ron made many.

yeah, especially his facial expressions & body laguage in the drug videos. That was the real Ron. & except for explaining how drug boys don't do this, IMO, Haleigh & Jr were the farthest things from his mind.

Well this video was made by someone who has told flat out lies about the case and has tried to pin whatever happened to Haleigh on Marie Griffis and the Sheffield's.

This is also no different than all the photos we seen of Caylee and Casey together. There were also pictures of Scott and Laci Peterson smiling with each other. And pictures of O.J. Simpson and Nicole Brown Simpson. I can go on and on.

Haleigh had 22 unexcused absences from school. Why? It wasn't for health reasons because Teresa, Ron, etc all said she was very healthy. Despite the fact she was diagnosed with TS.

Something was going on inside that home, and someone didn't want her teachers/school staff to find out.

Additonally, Ron worked the night shift, he would want Haleigh and Jr at school. Who wants 2 little kids running around at home playing and making noises during your only chance to get some sleep?

Oh so true!

This can be applied to verbal cues, facial expressions, body movements, any statements made (or reasonably expected statements not made) by any/all of the players in this case. As a matter of fact, I think many of us are capable of doing this and thus have taken the stance that we have concerning Ron and Company.

the lies that come out of somebody's mouth, are a lot more important than body language. & how much verbal cue, facial expression, or body movement can be detected in a still shot? Ron falling to the ground & sobbing, though, was pretty interesting to watch. or how about the body language of Ron all hugged up to Misty? or Misty saying 'hey Baby, hey Baby', during a drug deal?That was pretty telling too.

I'm sorry, what does this video have to do with the Sheffields and Griffins being set up? I am one of the ones that are unbiased in this case.
IF you go around on the, Ron did everything and his mom and gramma covered it up theory and no other theories, what is there to talk about on your show? I respect the fact that you try to help cases, but if you are SO POSITIVE about your accusations (and that is all they are) please stop it as I do believe rumors are not allowed on this forum? back it up as I don't want to get into the side taking in this case please.
Show me proof and maybe I will feel different but you won't listen to anything other than your opinion and if you can share yours on here, I can certainly show a video that I THOUGHT was nice as I had not seen it before.

Not that you were referring to my post, but for clarity, I wasnt trying to suggest that I think these shots were posed. I was simply adding that in addition to images such as these, there can be other moments that are not so warm and fuzzy and those times are not likely captured on film for all to possibly see. I also agree that the "all good /all bad" notion is extreme. But it reminds me of a neighbor who was in an abusive marriage and I recall her saying that he was 98% wonderful and that he only beat her x amount of times.... which for me would be the deal breaker regardless of the 98% "wonderful."

How do you know what Ron would want and how do you know why Haleigh was absent?

OT the thread was started to ask if after watching the video does it change your opinion is all. I thought it was a touching video, I had never seen these pictures before.
