Only his side of the story is what is known, I'm assuming. Wondering how truthful his timeline and details are? I suspect not very. JMO

Vermont State Police investigating the disappearance of a New Hampshire woman said Tuesday they have been unable to locate her husband.

Vermont State Police said they want to speak to Joseph Ferlazzo but have been unable to find him. He was reported to have last been seen by a friend Monday night in St. Albans, Vermont, near the location where the camper van was found on a property belonging to a friend of his. State police said they're also are working to determine when Emily Ferlazzo was last seen by someone other than her husband.

[...]

Joseph Ferlazzo is described as 6 feet tall, weighing 200 pounds with brown eyes, brown hair, a nose piercing and multiple tattoos. He was last seen wearing a dark gray three-quarter-zip sweater.

The couple's dog, a medium-sized mix breed named Remington, is also missing.
wow...like now all suspicion falls on him, even if he is just hiding out and laying low.

How far was he from wherever he was supposed to be when he was found? The husband? Does it look like he was on the run?

How does this happen so frequently and nothing is done at a societal level? Why do we just accept that men do this to women all the time?

(Yes - I know women do it too - here are some stats that explain why I worded this the way I do:

The majority of domestic homicide victims (killed by ex/partner or a family member) for the year ending March 2017 to the year ending March 2019 were female (77% or 274 victims) and most of the suspects were male (263 out of 274; 96%). Of the 83 male victims of domestic homicide, the suspect was female in 39 cases, and male in 44 cases. (ONS, 2020A) (source) )

I think I found her maiden name, may I post that?

I will never look at these things the same way again!

Same here.
I don't have much confidence in the Vermont police solving this. I hope I'm wrong.

Did she have her phone or her wallet…..anyone know?

They are said to be from NH, per police, but it appears they’ve lived/spent time in VT and he was found in a convenience store about an hour away (in St. Albans, VT) from the site he said he last saw her (intersection of Rt. 2 and Bolton Access Rd., Bolton, VT). Their dog and camper van were found at “his friend’s home” in St. Albans.

So, he left the dog and camper van at his friend's house while he....did what?

Got rid of his wife?

Ran away?

News reports say she is from Northfield, NH. That is off I-93, just north of Concord, near Lake Winnisquam, Lake Winnipesaukee and other big lakes, as well as near the White Mountains, Franconia Notch, and a gazillion resort towns. If no one ever saw her in Bolton or in Vermont, she could be anywhere, even in NH. I wonder how they drove to Bolton. The long scenic route through Franconia Notch and the Stowe area? Or the long scenic route near Sunapee, Killington, and the Mad River Valley?

IMO. The amount of LE already involved lends me to think there is something nefarious in her 'disappearance'. None of us are Einsteins, nor do we need to be in this situation. If everyone was looking for her, and Mr. F couldn't be found, that also lends itself to minimal cooperation with LE. Just saying JMO. All speculation.

Big downhill mountain biking park in Northfield, that’s the only reason I’ve gone there. Or driving through to go to Maine through the white mountains instead of up 93.
