I disagree about children being involved, children can not hold water, and if somehow older teens were involved, someone would have talked. I doubt also that a transient would be capable of covering their tracks but the Tillicum LE is starting to look like they do their recruiting from Boulder Colorado.

You are right about the fact that LE discounted the sighting way too early. No offense to Don Knotts but it looks like Barney Fife is on the job.

No one apparently covered any tracks or made any effort to hide the body according to LE. Had LE conducted a grid search last December, Adreanna's body would have been discovered.

I disagree - IMO, from my personal experience, children do hold water, especially teens. And they hold water very well - better than many adults. One such example - several years ago in Astoria Oregon, a teenager murdered a 7-yo girl (Ashley Carlson). The teenage boy convinced his younger sisters to help him cover up ... and the only reason he was caught was because neighbors saw him and his sisters moving a rolled-up carpet outside their home. Through interrogations, the sisters never spilled the water. The 7-yo's body was found rolled up in the carpet. It was very sad.

10 years later.... and the then "teens" involved have just started
turning on each other.

I just looked at the FBI page, and I have a question. It says MAY have been carrying a back pack. Either she was or wasn't. Couldn't that question have been answered if they either found the backpack left at home or not???!!! Anyone understand What I'm saying??

Amom I don't know anything more than you. Speculating I would say that LE was told Adreanna left with the book bag.

Perhaps the two girls that saw her later in the day, near the school, didn't see the book bag - or perhaps it was retrieved by LE already in an unexpected place?

Investigators were conducting a grid search, dividing the area to be searched into smaller areas that can be combed completely by teams of investigators. Police will resume their investigation of the lot once the cleanup is completed

On the slideshow of pictures on that link posted above, there is a picture of her that I had not previously seen. She looks a lot different to me in that picture than any others. Very, very sweet little face.

Now speculation will be that possibly Adre'anna saw something, and was killed because of what she saw. This is a new angle, I am not sure what to think, regardless of what the outcome is, Jon Federicci is lower than a snake in the ground IMO.

I heard Adreanna's skeletal remains were found but not a word about her clothes or back-pack. Matter, a family-friend attended the community meeting and police were not saying much about what was found beyond Adreanna's skeletal remains.

IMO, I think Adreanna was with other children who she knew. Perhaps Adreanna knew her mother would not approve of her hanging out with the children (or teens). After a while, those children (or teens) left and Adreanna remained behind with other children (or teens). Maybe she did see something illegal and felt safe staying around other people and did not want to walk home alone - so she stayed around other children, trying to blend-in. But when the children she felt safe around left to head home, she found herself alone and then fell prey to the evil one. The evil one could be a teenager (i.e., older sibling to a classmate or friend) or someone else (i.e., transient, druggie, sex offender, etc.). (Just a thought.)

I believe LE were all over the step dad and it would have been hard for him to move a body during that time to the area she was seen in by the little girls. This makes me think Adreanna really was in the area and not put there by the dad.

Lakewood Police Chief Larry Saunders announced at a news conference Monday that the man, 44-year-old Spencer Grant is a transient and may have information about a transient camp where the bones of Adre'anna Jackson were found.

"We believe he was aware of what was going on at the camp," Saunders said. "He may or may not have been living at the camp, but we know he has information about the camp that we think would be crucial to us so we want to talk to him."

Saunders stressed that Grant is not a suspect in the murder.

In the news conference Police Chief Saunders said that 60% of the crime sene has been processed and over 200 pieces of evidence has been collected.

He also mentioned that questions about cause of death should be directed to medical examinator Dr Howard.

According to KING5 News, Julia Warren (Grant's girlfriend) says that a few weeks ago Grant told her her found a skull that might be Adre'Anna's, and he asked her to come and take a look at it.

Also, Northwest Cable News reported Grant was in jail at the time Adre"Anna disappeared (this is the only station to report this info).

I am sickened about Grant's girlfriend's revelation about Adre'Anna's skull being found weeks ago, and the dumbbell didn't have enough sense to go look and then call the police. @#$%@^&*!

KOMO 4 website has story,"POI found Adre-Anna's remains two weeks ago".The story is very similar to reports elsewhere. With the exception of this paragraph:
Grant is a registered sex offender convicted of rape, drugs and assault. He was serving time at the date of her disappearance that is why he is not a suspect, but did he live in a house yards away from the transient camp, which was very close to where Adre'Anna was discovered, and he might have insight.

Whitewolf, this is the first confirmation I have seen that he was in jail at the time of Adre-Anna's disappearance.

I sure hope they find the monster who did this. This little girl probably didn't live a great life so she at the least deserves justice in this world. If that guy found a skull why in the world didn't he tell LE...scared of them? I hope he knows something.

I wonder if this little girl was just wandering around over that way and ran into some homeless guys and they asked her if she wanted to come over to their camp and talk to them. I remember the remark that someone made...about her just wanting someone to love her. She would probably be open to anyone that showed her some attention. Didn't the teens say that she looked sad? Little thing probably didn't want to go home. Sad but there are many more just like her looking for love and attention.
