This case is so sad, where is she iand who hurt this little girl. I would bet her home life was hell, her pictures tells a story of a little girl whose innocence was taken away at a young age and tragically she is gone from us, why can't they find her???

breaks my heart.

I believe there was a report made early on that they didn't have a phone in the home because the school has some kind of calling system that contacts you for school closings. I've never had that system anywhere I have lived but besides tv and radio there are websites for the school closings also that I check now. I don't know if that story is still available but I read it here way back when this case first was reported on.

I think about this little girl everyday, she was one of several that disappeared closely together along with Tekretia Buggs, Amber Harris and the little girl (name?) she was 10 disappeared going to school and found later in a rock quarry, had been killed by that animal that killed his wife and 3 beautiful daughters. It was also reported that the dogs they used tracked Adreanna's scent to the lake from her house in another direction from heading towards the school. I don't see how her stepfather could've seen her walk that way unless you don't believe the dogs.
Talking about school closings ... at one elementary school in our area in Oregon yesterday, our son was told his school was closed as he went to board the school bus. There was no other announcement that we had heard. Power had been knocked out at the school (high winds) and would not be restored for several hours so the school and day-care center there were closed for the entire day. I think of the many children who's parents left for work or other activities upon seeing their child off to school who were left home-alone for the day. (Several 4th-6th graders came to my home where my wife looked after them.)

I too think about Adreanna Jackson every day. I have heard different reports about the search dogs and scent dogs. But I wonder if she went to school and on her way there (towards the end at the school), another child told her school was closed and she then went to the lake and along her way, she met foul-play. Any thing is possible. But after Couey kept 9-yo Jessica Lunsford captive in a house 100-yards from her home (and later burried her alive) and the search dogs and scent dogs did not detect Jessica's scent, I wonder if perps these days have gotten some system down for altering the trail that search dogs and scent dogs key on? (Just a thought.)

Here is something else regardig schools. My children's school is always late in getting the info on the news that they are closing. Most times the kids are already dressed and 20 min. away from heading off, before they announce school is closed. Also, our school has also closed early for the day due to snow, and sent my then 3rd grader on his merry way home, while I have been at my 2nd shift job. Good thing I have 2 teenagers who were there. Now, they made sure that the kindergartners and 1 st graders had rides, but the higher up grades, they let fend for themselves. School said it was announced on t.v.

As for the scent the search dogs picked up I too have thought that she went to school first then could've back tracked and walked right past her house again towards the lake and that would account for her most recent scent going from the house to the lake but I'll tell you with there being snow I do have to seriously question the accuracy of them being able to get her scent since it's skin rafts they pick up on and the snow, rain, wind, sun, etc. all has an effect on that.

I had a similar incident with the school closing for heat with my granddaughter and for some odd reason I checked the website that day. I really don't know if the bus driver would've known and been able to tell me but I don't think so because there are two buses one is earlier but they pick up for the elementary, middle and high school.

does anyone know if le has looked into the type of folks the stepdad associated with? if they are the partying type, then maybe one of his buddies was out in the area and picked her up? wouldn't she know the ones that her stepdad might of had over in the past? if she did, she might have gotten into a vehicle willingly, if the dad isn't envolved, then someone that she trusted most likely took advantage of the oppertunity and offered her a ride. seems as if this was a stranger abduction, she would have made noise. this poor child is the unfortunate victim of someone elses circumstances. pray that le keeps this case moving.

I have a gut the step-dad has some involvement.

Wow! I didn't know anyone even knew where Sedro-Woolley was. I'm technically in Burlington, but closer to SW. We could be neighbors :)

I was just checking in here and saw your answer. It seems that everyone lives so far away from my little town here it is kind of nice to know that someone on here lives close by :D Was that snow I saw coming down late this afternoon  I love Sedro....little red neck hick town that it is...
just my style..lol

This one and Amber Harris just drive me crazy! I've long since noticed the difference between Amber's family and their pursuit and Adreanna's mother. Maybe she needs help.

I agree! I sent an email to the Governor (Washington) about this case, and I didn't get so much as a form response. Absolutely SICK!!! This poor little girl doesn't have the benefit of persistent parents. Very sad!:(

I think I'll do the same. We recently moved away from Tacoma to Chicago, but I still think of this case as a local one for me. I can't help but wonder why her mom and stepfather aren't pushing this, if they aren't.

I got a "have you seen me?" small flyer from 1800-the-lost in my mail today with her picture and missing info. on it, I'm clear across the country in Pa.

I don't want to see her fall through the cracks either.
Bumping for Adreanna
