I do not know if this is anything to do with Andre-Anna. The fact this is in Lakewood is worth following up on.

KIRO 7 TV website has an article. This is the only new information I found:
According to police, two 10-year-olds found a skull and a portion of a spinal column in a field near Woodbrook Middle School. The remains were spotted among some blackberry bushes.


Police said the area where the remains were discovered has been the site of homeless camps in the past.

I will continue to watch the local media for any new information.

on another site there was a statement made that 2 girls saw Adreanna Fri night across the freeway, their story was discounted. the middle school is across the highway also only around 1.3miles from elementary school. I pray that they can determine who it is soon. Thoughts are with you Adreanna.

She was in my mail today. I didn't realize there had been this find near the school until I logged in just now.....gives me chills......

The report said Andre-Anna's mother is out of state. LE spoke to the father/step-father at the families home,but he did not want to speak on camera.LE said an identification could be made as early as tomorrow. The FBI are combing the site for clue's. No backback or clothes were found as best as I could understand.

the fact that these remains are so close to her home is already starting to upset me. I might be wrong, but I get the feeling that this could be her, how many others are missing from that location? if this is her, would the police re-focus there suspicion on the dad/stepdad? I find it hard to believe that on that morning that she would have been clear across the highway. I still suspect that the dad/stepdad is involved in this childs disappearence, if it is her, who has closure? her parents haven't seemed to concerned that she is gone, at least it hasn't appeared that way to me, since there has been very little info on her and the familys efforts in locating her. maybe now is a good time to get the dad back in for a lie detector test, with the recent discovery of these remains, if they are hers, it could make a big difference in the outcome of it all, after all his first one was inconclusive, the fact that no clothing was found with the remains indicate that the person was nude at the time the body was placed there. makes me look back on the fact about the father placing a garbage pale behind the neighbors house, maybe she was in it for a short period of time. early on in all the post, someone made a post indicating what the area might look like where she could be found, sounds like the location where these remains were found has alot of similar looks.

this closeness to her home makes me believe even more that this could be her, and this also makes me still include her dad as the one responsible, this being so close is to me, not a good sign at all. either its a mere freak find of someone else remains or its her. most killers useally want to make a quick disposal of thier crimes and do so often within the distance she was found, 2 to 5 miles. he could have done this the night before, I still feel that child never left her home on that cold morning, the other kids saying they saw her I as well discount that. why would adreanna be all the way over there? I remember a interview of the stepdad, and he was saying " lets just find the little girl " he never said adreanna, that is odd to me.

I hope it is her because she deserves to get some justice .I have been watching this thread for so long and praying they would find her .I really hope they get some evidence to put this lying stepfather away forever .

Did we ever hear if the guy her mom was living with was her actual dad, step-dad, or mom's friend?? They all have different last names, so I've always been a little confused about that. Also, was this area previously searched??

Amom news articles state he is the stepfather .It was confusing for awhile.

I hope it is her too. She didn't travel that far away by herself. Weren't there lots of kids out playing in the snow the morning that she was supposed to have disappeared...but none of them saw her? Seems to me if a little kid was walking to school and saw other kids playing she would have gone and joined them.

So often now days moms boyfriends are called stepdads so who knows if he was actually her stepdad or not. I have never understand the behavior of these parents from the beginning. Maybe that has something to do with their lifestyle though. When people are involved with drugs that tends to be their first love...everything and everyone else follows. If all that is left of the person that was found is the skull and spinal column we will probably never know what happend. At least they will be able to identify her with dental records...if it is her and if she had gone to the dentist.

Can someone who lives locally give me an idea of where exactly the remains were found? On the map (link on previous page) I used the school address to have an idea - but I am really interested to know where because the remains were found "near" the school....

the area she was located was across the highway from where american lake is, if you look at the map which on post 270 of this forum has a link to the area, as you look at the map the marker on the left is where adreanna lived, the marker on the right is the location of the remains, this was behind a school in a vacant lot. this was not the school that adreanna went to. they said the remains were in and under some blackberry bushes, so someone certainly didn't want those remains found. this area I don't think was ever searched, they concentrated alot on the american lake area. to bad that they didn't have a large scale search for her like they did when the groane kids were missing. had they done so, they would have found her soon enough to have collected possibly dna from her. if these remains are hers.

Dannyodie thank you for that information, but I want to know, more specifically where the remains were found... as in... near the track? Across the street? Half a block down from the marker?

It is interesting that it is completely in the opposite direction as to where they searched for her - and as to where the dogs led them.

Two young boys found a skull and spine in a blackberry bush about noon in the area, which is located at the corner of 146th Street Southwest and Spring Street Southwest, said Lakewood police Det. Mike Zaro. The boys told a nearby apartment building manager, who went to look at the remains before calling police, he said.

The undeveloped property is half covered in brush and blackberry bushes, which has slowed the search
