Dannyodie thank you for that information, but I want to know, more specifically where the remains were found... as in... near the track? Across the street? Half a block down from the marker?

It is interesting that it is completely in the opposite direction as to where they searched for her - and as to where the dogs led them.

Adreanna's parents mentioned the lake to LE. Maybe she had been down to the lake a day or two before she went missing, and the dogs tracked her from that time?

I looked at the location map you posted, and if you click the map once EAST and once SOUTH, you can see another shorter path on the south side of the corner lot leading into the bushes.

Can you post a map that shows where her school is located (terra map like the one above)?

this is my senerio, the night before, I figure that since the mom was most likely passed out due to a combination of drugs, rather prescription or illegal. and maybe even the stepdad was intoxicated to. I theorize that he assulted adreanna in the home while mom was passed out, then he placed her in the trash barrel and pushed her over behind the neighbors home, then drove his car there behind the home and placed her in the trunk of his car, and drove her over to the location where these remains were found and then came back home. the next morning he probably told the mom the story that was told about her leaving to check to see if school was open. the stepdad, probably told her what she was wearing, and when mom later called to report that she had not returned, she was probably still dazed as to what clothes she was told that she was wearing. this all would have been a quick disposal of her body and would give him plenty of time to fabricate a story. I feel these remains are hers. if they are the dental records will show that it is or isn't her.

Thanks for the map of her school. Do you remember how many blocks Adreanna had to walk from home to her school? I think it was only three blocks, but not sure.

There is a road and a path on the South side of the vacant lot (where the remains were found) that probably hooks up with the longer path on the North side of the lot. It would be easier (shorter route if she was dumped from a vehicle) to hide a body in the blackberry bushes.

LAKEWOOD, Wash. - Searchers on Wednesday were again at the site where human remains were discovered Tuesday afternoon. They expect to be searching the area for other remains or clues for several days, and the Green River task force is consulting on the case.

Family and friends of 10-year-old Adre’Anna Jackson are on edge. On Tuesday night, investigators found more human bones near the same scene where two neighborhood boys discovered a skull and spinal cord Tuesday afternoon.

“We’ve all just had so much hope that she would be found alive and we’re still hoping that. We don’t know that it is her over there,” said family friend Cynthia Maguire.

Ponderingthings-septemberschild who lives in the area posted on 101 on this thread that they bought a car a few months before Adre’Annas dissappearance.so maybe this theory of dannyodie is possible.

LAKEWOOD – Authorities have confirmed that human remains found in a vacant lot in Lakewood are those of 10-year-old Adre’Anna Jackson, who disappeared on her way to school in early December.

The site where the remains were found is near Woodbrook Middle School, about two miles from Jackson’s home.

The girl was last seen at about 7:45 a.m. on Dec. 2 on her way to Tillicum Elementary School near Portland and Orchard streets in Lakewood. Her father walked her part way to school, not knowing that school was cancelled due to snow. She was not seen again.

More than 100 people searched for her, and police combed the area with bloodhounds while divers searched the waters of a nearby lake.

Her mother, Yvette Gervais, pleaded for her daughter to come home.

"Please come home," she said. "We're not mad."

"She's just such a bright, likable child," she said. "Everybody knows her and what's really mysterious about this nobody has seen her."

Adre'Anna was never found.

On Tuesday, several boys were playing in a vacant lot at 146th Street Southwest and 76th Avenue Southwest when they found a skull and spinal cord.

The FBI told the child’s parents that the remains could be their daughter, and on Wednesday afternoon, Lakewood Police confirmed that the remains are Adre’Anna.

I appreciate each and every poster on this board. We all took this beautiful child into our hearts. I know all of us hope LE will now have what evidence they need to bring this preditor of our children to justice. I will never forget Andre-Anna and the words of her youth pastor,"Andre-Anna was looking for a caring adult in her life."

I hope after all this time that there will be enough forensics to tell what happened. You would think LE could have found her by now with the close proximity she was within two miles.

how terribly sad, even though I knew these would be her remains, it is still so sad that this poor child died at the hands of those that should have protected her. I am sure police will be working the stepdad over once again, they should, since he never really passed a lie detector test; if a lie detector test is in-conclusive, to me that is; something is not being told truthfully. don't be surprised that the police bring him in, he has to be shaking to the core by now. I doubt very seriously that she left the house on that morning, the story just doesn't sound plausable to me, it all sounds fabricated, had she left that morning, other kids would have told her that school was closed. the fact that the stepdad said he walked her halfway to school is in itself a ploy to make it confusing to a lie detector test, I am certain that he knew he would be questioned, since he had in the past been arrested for hitting her. so he knew that they would look at him first, so he fabricates this story to place himself with her that morning so when he is questioned it would confuse the test results. he is not as sly as he thinks. I can't see any one else holding responsibility for her death. she is certainly at more peace then she was living in that home, but it is heartbreaking that such a very beautiful child has been taken from us. I am sure that some of the few items that the parents claim she had with her was taken to a nearby dumpster and discarded. maybe mom even knows that stepdad did something to her, this man looks to me to be one to have threatning control over the home he shared with mom and adreanna. I suspect that the stepdad will be coming in the news soon. who has closure in a case like this? the parents didn't seem to me to really care much about her, if they had they would have been speaking up all this time. all I can say is god rest this precious childs soul. she certainly is an angel amoung us all.

I feel ill, physically ill. I have followed this case for a long time and really developed a soft spot in my heart for little Adre'anna. My goodness, how terrible and terribly sad this is.

So close to home, yet so far away.
She was just a skull and a spinal cord. Did animals get to her or nature itself? Either way, what a grotesque way to die.

This is just so, so, so sad. Prayers for Adre'anna. May she rest in peace now.

Also the kids only found a skull and part of the spine... but LE may have found more.

I think LE must've found something. They are being very tightlipped about what they found at the scene. Also, they identified her really quickly. I know with dental records, it would most likely be a quick way to tell but this was very soon after her remains were found.

Gosh, I just want to hug that little girl. I would've taken her if no one wanted her. She just wanted to be loved, is that too much too ask?
