Going back to his 2011 fb, begins to show hints as to what might develop in the future and some small understanding of why, imo, speculation.

I don't know - going through his Facebook nothing jumps out at me that says he's any different from a lot of American kids. He seems a little weird, well liked by a few, makes jokes with his friends, likes cars and guns, posts about regular school stuff.

I believe her family was shown his picture and they said they had never seen him before.

Well, hopefully he will tell interrogators what his motive was. The public needs to know. Because speculation won't be a good thing, and could make things even worse, IMO.

The suspect is originally from Adana, Turkey, according to his Facebook page. He is a 2015 graduate of Oak Harbor High, where classmates remember him as a loner.

It was a lt. in Oak Harbor that recognized him walking down the street near his apartment. The LEO had just viewed an image of the suspect on his computer. He did a u-turn and another deputy pulled over to help with arrest. No resistance.

ETA: He did have a car and it was spotted on surveillance at the mall so LE were able to was able to trace it to O H.

Law enforcement sources tell KING 5 Cetin was in possession of three guns Friday night. All of them were legally purchased, but Cetin stole them from his father.

As for the motive, law enforcement sources say Cetin’s ex-girlfriend use to work at the Macy’s where the shooting happened. However, she has not worked there in several months and now lives in Pierce County. But that connection appears to be why Cetin chose that location.

LE haven't established a relationship between the gunman and anyone at the mall or a motive yet. But, it would be especially odd for him to go to a certain department inside the store, shoot a few people, set his rifle on the counter and then leave. If the motive were terrorism, wouldn't he continue to shoot until LE arrived and then probably get in a shootout with them? At the presser, LE were asked about a GF working there but could not confirm at this time.
