76-year-old Casey M. Brace has been staying at Claremont Senior Living in Bremerton, which is where his car was parked, but most recently walked away from the facility on Aug. 18. A ping attempt indicated the phone had been turned off or its battery had been dead for at least 24 hours.
Brace had talked about going to Port Ludlow and Seattle, and he may have used a network of friends for transportation.
Brace was last seen wearing a blue long-sleeve shirt and gray sweat pants, and may be in possession of an iPad. He has a malignant brain tumor and has had prior suicidal ideations. Brace also has a history of mini-strokes.
Brace left the living facility with no money or access to finances. He is described as a 6-1, 180-pound white male with brown hair and a large beard.
