I read the same, only not on Twitter. Passed during surgery. So heartbreaking...

I don't think she's dead. Last I heard both girls were in ICU. One had surgery to relieve cranial pressure. I know one girl died earlier - I hope there isn't a third victim from the shooting!

Reading Twitter is really the best source of information right now, because the news won't report it unless confirmed. However, it's clear from the students that were there that they know who was impacted. A girl who was at the door of the cafeteria said he was at the table with his ex gf, cousins, and friends.

The student who was killed in the shooting has not yet been officially identified, but friends and family have identified her as Gia Soriano. Reporters in Seattle have tweeted that Fryberg shot two girls at closoe range.

I'm so confused! This earlier report says Gia Soriano died during the shooting. It names Zoe Galasso as another shooting victim - the girl now reported as having died. Also named were Nate Hatch and Andrew Fryberg.

So there's still an unnamed victim and the recent tweets say Zoe has died. I can't find confirmation of Zoe's death except for the social media tweets.

Argh! Has anyone seen an official msm report about Zoe's death?

From what I can tell, Gia was killed at the school. Zoe died during surgery. Shaylee is still hospitalized. I just don't understand... Based on their social media interactions, they were all FRIENDS.

Okay, I just saw a non-msm report that Zoe has died. I can't link it since it's not msm. It claims their source is social media and people who are at the hospital. I'm inclined to believe that it's true but I wish msm would confirm.

What he saw was freshman Jaylen Fryberg go up to a table with students, "came up from behind ... and fired about six bullets into the backs of them," Luton told CNN. "They were his friends, so it wasn't just random."
Some of the students began to run. Luton and others hit the ground, some hiding under tables.
By the time it was over, two people -- the gunman and a female student -- were dead and four were wounded, according to authorities.
