I believe they got the information about him being shot in the stomach from someone who'd actually seen him after the crime. That's, IMHO, why last night they started saying he could even be 'dead.'

I woke up this morning thinking about the four officers and so wanted to hear he'd been captured during the night. I just hope it's over before tonight ends!

The female officer was only 40 yo with a 21 yo and a 7 yo. She was only 4'11".

Wow, tiny. An officer talked about the time she jumped on a suspects back trying to distract him.

She started as a dispatcher and eventually ended up a policeman.

At the beginning, they thought it was possible there were two. I believe they knew the black male was the shooter, but they thought it possible a white male helped in the get-a-way. But it was later dispelled.

Those inside the coffee shop at the time of the crime were in shock. I believe that may have been part of the confusion. PLUS, one of the employees ran out the door when they saw the suspect's gun, before he began shooting.

Just imagine what mayhem with bullets flying and so many victims, everyone ducking and running.

And another link saying LE followed a trail of blood.

Hi there, What I read in the early hours of the day made it seem like they had determined it was a wound to the stomach by the blood trail they found. Is that possible, and maybe the blood from that area would include gastric or other enzymes, bodily fluids or stool?

I could have misinterpreted what I read too as I wondered then how they could tell it was a stomach wound. Maybe it was the lady who was leaving the house who told officers he had been shot in the stomach.
