Great question. I would think it would require permission from a parent, wouldn't it?
Absolutely!
All the DNA talk makes me think adult in community.

I think with the mud comments, LE believes the perp traveled through the creek bed. It's been unusually dry this summer. I have thick woods just like the pics around my house, and the ground is not muddy. The only other explanation I can think of is if there was evidence of sliding down the ravine. Even with the dry ground, someone could still be muddy that way.

I think LE has more than they are telling. . .obviously. There must be a reason they believe it is someone from the park, as opposed to a transient. They haven't come out and said that, but it's the impression I get. Dad still isn't off the hook for me. Whoever did this, I think was in a panic and didn't think this through . . .wasn't well planned out in advance. MOO!

OK - based on things that LE has already said....

Perhaps LE found tracks of the perp either leading into or out of the park through the woods where Jenise was found which is why there were a few LE cars parked down below by HWY 303.

To get down there, the path would travel through heavy brush, across a creek and then through more bushes and trees until you come out at the open area down by the highway.

If someone tracked IN that way, there would probably be mud within the park somewhere. If they left through the woods and didn't have a car to get away in, maybe they were spotted on the main road by a passing driver.

If the perp used the woods as either and entrance or exit or both, they are sure to have some scratches from the bushes on their arms, probably their face too.

I thought I saw a bus stop over that way. Maybe the perp is not local and took a bus home. But is well known in the neighborhood.

This seems such an easy question, however, I have not seen the answer on here. Would J's siblings that sleep in the same room know if she was in bed on Saturday night?

When that happens to me it is after I make a post; I just refresh the page and the Thanks buttons appear. :)

Yes, that seems to be when it's happening. Thanks for the tip.----n----

Based on the police not knowing if this happened Saturday or Sunday the siblings are either not cooberating the 10pm in bed Sat night, or perhaps they weren't home that night?
or not home at 10.pm???

The LE spokesperson guy says the ground was muddy due to heavy tree cover....ground doesn't dry out...

I'm sorry if this has already been discussed. But since I came late to this thread, just who was supposedly home on Saturday night? Mom? Dad? All the siblings? Just some of them? TIA

has the autopsy been completed already?

AFAIK we don't know who was in the home Sat. or Sunday. Except for the 16 yr. old who is said was away from home. I "think" dad says he saw her go to bed at 10pm Sat. nite. Maybe he said we....I'd have to check.

This article was before she was found and there was a possible clue with the mud. I would hope FBI would be looking in closets for the missing girl.

Good point. I knew it was earlier but looking for her as opposed to clues makes much more sense.

I am very unclear regarding who exactly was at home Saturday night. I don't think it's ever been stated explicitly, or at least, if it has, I haven't seen it.

Any idea why mom isn't speaking or wasn't? Maybe she did and I missed it.

Just my opinion, but I wouldn't if I were her. Not because of guilt, but because I'm an introvert and the last thing I'd want to do is be interviewed at a time like this.

I don't know. Have we heard from any family members?

The lack of specific info coming from the home is astounding to me. Am I the only one? Very unusual- isn't it? The last seen and items worn are very important in a case. I don't understand this at all.

The mother not speaking out, is another huge, red flag to me. I feel like I am in the twighlight zone of missing persons (now found murdered) cases.

If this is happening to help the investigation than I am all for it.

I just honestly don't understand... it makes me very suspicious of the persons in the home. MOO
