Just FYI, nobody is BASHING the parents, IMO. We are stating facts regarding them.

Parents that let a 6 year old (since she was THREE) wander the neighborhood, unsupervised, let her eat "wherever", don't check on her well-being, and most importantly don't give a rat's patootie that she is gone for almost 24 hours before reporting her missing deserve to be scrunized, FGS!

We didn't make it up or exaggerate those facts. They are what they are.

Yeah, but TOS says we can't sleuth parents if they haven't been named as POI, and some of this judging/scrutinizing edges very closely to violating the TOS. Facts are facts, but beyond that (ie: scrutinizing) we need to tread very lightly. We are still victim friendly, and the victims are per case and this particular case is just Jenise's case.

Thank you! The last two days I've thought we are a victim friendly site only to read bashing of parents. I don't think parents are involved, haven't since day one. I give you that past practice of parents may have contributed to crime, but I believe they thought it was safe. MOO

I don't believe that stating facts surrounding the case is 'bashing' the parents. Pointing out behaviors that may have contributed to the vulnerability of the child, and the difficulty in ascertaining when exactly the child was abducted is not, IMO, bashing.

I believe if someone is actually bashing the parents, mods are alerted and the post is removed.
