I think the ice cream man is getting colonic about now. Even though LE might be keying on someone...they are still checking everyone. imo

Getting close to presser.. I'm so anxious.

I think I caught up ,but was away a couple of hours. Is the abandoned house chatter just speculative or did someone mention J was in an abandoned home during the weekend ? TIA

ETA, I think trash and debris does not necessarily mean someone was living in that area , although they could have been. It could also be a place where some kids/teens go to party away from home but not too far away . It would make total sense actually.

My apologies if this is a repeat

Wow, not very far at all & down slope. More & more thinking teen.

If he is a teen, has to be strong enough to hide her.

I don't know if question was answered, 300 plus FBI and LE....15 different agencies. THIS is not going to turn out like the Casey Anthony trial!!

And I hope no one is protecting this individual!!

Sitting on hands hard.

Chatter, chatter, and more chatter. At this point everything we know is speculative. Maybe there will be something concrete from the press conference. hoping.

Wilson: Unknown if body was found where death occurred, or if death occurred elsewhere and body placed there.

So this was asked at the conference. I've missed the last two as the feed would not come up for me. Will someone provide the link for the next one please? TIA

I think (and am VERY hopeful) that the presser this afternoon will provide lots of info, and that the one this morning which was rather vague was just to buy additional time and perhaps to fool whomever LE has their eye on that they still don't have a POI. LE has really surprised me in some cases where we think they have no new info and then, BOOM! Hoping this is the case, and hugs to all involved (locals, WS'ers, Jenise's family, etc)

I don't believe he meant she was just put in the bushes.. I just don't. I may be alone.. And I may be wrong but to me, All that mud would come from digging around..

When the facts are presented... And if you are correct... Then you can tell all us skeptics, "I told you so...."

Body found abt 100ft from back section of homes, down slope. Foot trails in this area, but mostly covered in heavy brush. #JeniseWright

Wow, that's pretty close to the homes! The fact that there are foot trails tell me people (maybe young people) do go from the community, under/over the fence, the the area.

Curious what you mean by blabbing? Not trying to argue at all, but what would they be saying? If a teen (or teens) did this, I don't see them bragging to their friends about being guilty.

Maybe not the guilty party. But perhaps some of the kids who saw weird things. Like a couple of the boys befriending her the past few days or weeks. Or saw someone walking with her earlier in the day. I hope so anyway.

ETA: Like when the 14 yr old friend says that she hung out with Jenise on Friday and Saturday night....what does that mean, exactly? Were other 14 yr olds there hanging out too? Any parents around? She did not say she was babysitting her. She made it sound like they were friends, chilling together. I find that so odd. My 14 yr old would have done anything to avoid spending Friday nights with a 6 yr old.

Finally all caught up after a day away. Now, here's my theory (and of course it's all MOO and pure speculation based on everything I've heard and read, here and elsewhere)

Timeline and time of death still not really known yet but here's what I think happened: (if any of this is off limits, please snip or delete)

At some point, a local person (possibly one of the teens known to her) lured her into the woods where she was not supposed to go. Of course she went, because she trusted him. There was no need to carry her, she went willingly. Not sure if there is a fence back there at the property line but if there is, the local teens know exactly where to go to get through, so that's where they went. Through the woods, across the creek (mud #1) and whatever happened, happened, and that's where she was left. Back through the creek (mud #2), through the woods and back into the park. Left purposely where she was because it was closer to the homeless camp reported to be there, than the park itself (to throw off suspicion) and also not taken any further than the back woods because no access to a vehicle to leave her elsewhere. It wasn't planned, just a spur of the moment thing. This person is local, knows the park, knows the woods, knew Jenise and is now among those openly grieving about it to their friends.

Of course, I could be so far off base I might as well have said it was an alien. But I don't think I am.

We're deep in the woods in the area where what's believed to be the body of Jenise was found.

The other thing is I see a lot of vegetation but not any real mud??? So why all the mud talk?

I think it may be that because the reporter is outside the roped off (string) area, they may not be photographing the actual location were Jenise was found.

Not pure speculation. One of the neighbor friends said that she was known to play in abandoned houses with others friends in the past. Nothing was said about this past weekend however.
But I do find it roubling if she did ever play in abandoned houses. Nothing good happens in an abandoned house. jmo

Good theory save for one thing. I don't think it was necessarily a teen. But, who knows.

I've been thinking something along these lines.

Sadly, I totally agree. :rose:
