My husband just rushed in here to tell me the shocking news a few minutes ago.

I thought for sure he had passed away from a sudden heart attack since he has had issues with his heart but when he told me it was from suicide I couldn't believe my ears. So sad and such a talented man who made millions all over the world laugh.

Depression is a relentless foe. Always waiting to ambush those who suffer. Incomprehensible to those who don't know it firsthand just how all consuming the battle can be.

Forgive me if someone has already mentioned this, but as blood and semen were found in the crotch of her panties and underwear, yet she was found without them on (they found the panties and shorts first) I take this to mean he had her get dressed after he raped her. Yet she was found without them on....

I think it was her father that said he saw her in bed......

She shares a room with her 8 y/o brother and 12 y/o sister. I think they must know whether she went to bed or not. That's not saying she didn't get back out of bed.

The other possibility is that the 8 and 12 y/o went to bed much earlier, say at 8 or 9 so they really don't know if Jenise came to bed at 10. It just doesn't seem likely that the two older siblings went to bed before Jenise.

The fact that her brother wasn't home that night
does explain part of the time he chose to do it.
Is there any chance that JW was "mentoring" GG
@ their home when Jenise went to bed?
Like could he have already been there and taken her
when he left later that night?

The stepfather of the suspect said 'he was home all weekend.' REALLY? A 17 yr old stays in his home the entire summer weekend? Why? Was he grounded or something.

Mine just came home to eat or change clothes, and then were gone again. Hard to believe that he was home ALL weekend.

I would probably want to kill myself if my son were arrested for killing a little child like that. I would need to be severely medicated and would be found in a fetal position for weeks most likely. What a horrible reality for that family.
