I hope he does not get a plea deal.

Is there a motive?

I wish I was shocked by the age of the alleged perp...but I am not at all. Seems to be more and more common. In fact violence by teens is terrifying overall, at least to me.

When I was in high school, even bullying consisted of whispering when the victim walked by, and excluding the victim from parties, etc...never physical violence or public rallying against her/him. Now, violence seem the "go to" reaction of both sexes, Imo, for imagines or real slights, being "dissed" or stealing a boyfriend.

Please remember that HE hasn't been named so let's not physically describe him at this time.

Have the other Wright children been returned to their parents yet?

If tomorrow at his court appearance it's decided that he will be tried as an adult, will he be transferred to "adult" jail? Or will he stay in Juvie jail?

I think even though he will be tried as an adult, because he is STILL under 18, he will remain in juvie or in an adult jail in protective custody. Either way, the courts will protect him until he is proven guilty.

I'm curious to know as well. IMO they need to grieve as a family :(

Just to be obsessively clear so rumors don't start, the "he" you are referring to was your relative who was mixing these supplements, not the suspect.

Yes, the post was about my nephew. Sheesh, it got deleted but I was responding to someone who named some supplements and they were a couple my nephew was using. I was NOT talking about the accused, I don't even know him! Thanks for pointing that out Lilbet!!

I agree, but they might be waiting until all of the investigating is complete. So that when they do come back the police presence and possibly the media will be gone.

And remember when breaking up with someone did NOT leave a person dead?

I desperately want some high profile singer to do a serious remake of the song "Walk like a Man" .

*jaw drops* Say what?!???????! :thud:

It's not that unusual. Remember the Amish comforting and taking care of the schoolhouse shooter's family? Attending the shooter's funeral? Setting up a fund for his children? Some faiths prize forgiveness very highly.

A very good question, as he would surely be "at risk" in a general population type setting. I'm sure others would know.

Not knowing a thing of course (me) about what facilities are available as Juvenile Offender in Custody, I am curious how they will be able to protect him from the wrath of even juvenile offenders he may have to exercise with or share cell, etc.

I guess because I don't follow a certain faith it seems strange to me. Not something I could personally do. IMO.

Products such as Creatine, Rage (seriously) and Dark Matter are known for the side effects you've mentioned here. My DH is a bodybuilder.

Yes, my NEPHEW was using Creatine and Rage along with a few other supplements. He (my nephew) was mixing these supplements together. The side effects were something else for him (my nephew).

I hope I would be able to behave that way, but I honestly don't think I could.

Forgiveness is also not a straight line. You start by saying it. That doesn't mean in dark moments you don't dream of using a grapefruit spoon to disembowel someone. But you say it. And in good moments you mean it. And slowly, slowly, the good moments outweigh the grapefruit spoon moments. And eventually, many people realize that holding on to hatred and anger is only holding them back and not hurting the perp. And then you live your life almost to spite them. *&^% you, perp, I'm going to Hawaii and you can't take that from me. Etc.

I never thought I could either, but forgiveness gave me freedom I didn't think possible.

Forgiveness is amazingly freeing. It gives you control of your own life again. You stop being a victim and start being a survivor when you forgive.

I don't know either but I'd guess he'd be in protective custody, maybe solitary cell or possibly sucide watch cell. But honestly I have no idea.

Or just: "I'm going to Hawaii and you.....can't!"
