In order to take a plea, they would have to offer one, which seems unlikely considering they have a confession and DNA.

True. But I am thinking more along the lines of bargaining concerning GUILTY PLEA and no trial in exchange for choosing a prison near the family etc.

The close timing (month and dates) of GG's aunt's death and JW's death are interesting...

However.. I was under the impression that GG's aunt died August 12, 2012.... Not August 2, 2012....

Maybe a super Sleuther can clear this up for us?

TIA...:seeya:

You'll have to trust me on this one but I saw an Obit and GG's aunt passed August 2, 2012. Apparently due to natural causes at age 50.

GG's mother has the same last name as Janise's father (and mother). Time for my fave word ~ uncanny!

The only actual "reference" I've seen to GG having a brain injury is the title of the video [modsnip]

It seems that one little reference to brain injury along with a few tweets(?) from him about being in the hospital have equaled "GG had a brain injury," and that, IMO is just poor math on people's parts.

It was something more than those two things adding up I'm sorry to say. I've just read so much that I cannot recall where I saw it at the moment. I believe there were comments on one or more SMS that gave the impression of this. Since I was not the only person under this impression, I'm going to say that it was something fairly straight forward; though I cannot recall precisely what was said.

The video btw was something I'd seen later on, so it wasn't that; at least not for me.

A few days ago, it seems to me that some ppl here knew that MSM video of the lady in the passenger seat of the car, being interviewed by a reporter, with the guy in plaid shorts driving, was GG and his Mom. How did people figure that out a few days ago?

We heard murder suspect Gabe Gaeta attended the memorial for Jenise Wright, just went through our video. Here he is- pic.twitter.com/est5rRVrZG

Warning - graphic!

I don't know about the antidepressants but yes, I noticed the overkill too. Multiple head fractures and strangulation. That's more than trying to stop her from screaming - the word "rage" comes to mind. Also, I have questions about her underpants and shorts having evidence in them yet they were found away from her body and not on her.

I think I follow your train of thought and I can't bring myself to type the words out of respect for Jenise.

May this horrible killer rot.

Maybe they didn't have enough probable cause to get a warrant for the swab. They needed him to do it voluntarily, they couldn't force him. They didn't have evidence until they found Jenise.

Salem

yeah i guess im just surprised they did not go back until 4 days had passed, there is no mention of him refusing a second time so i assume the next contact mentioned in the PC statement is in fact the next contact.

someone else mentioned they could have been lining up some other things before they approached him again, could be.

I bet the FBI was watching every sick move he made at that memorial, and he must have felt them breathing down his neck. I hope so anyway.

Address search of the few houses located where the vehicles were being towed away. Then searches on SMS for people with those last names.

Also, why did the stepdad say GG was "home all weekend' if there is actually a cell pic of him in the background with the victim? That means he was out of the home at some point, and not 'home all weekend.'

My assumption is that by "home" he meant, not at work, not at a sports camp, not spending the night with friends. "Home" meant "didn't leave the mobile home park" in other words.

It sounds like it would have been unusual for him to literally remain inside the home for 48 hours.

the ten hour thing is just a he-man cartoon clip (non anime) set to some silly music (non anime) someone made and it repeats for ten hours, it became a thing on youtube to make 10 hour videos of a small clip or a song that just repeats over and over for ten hours.

Kind of like Nyan Cat.

I'm thinking his stepdad meant "home" as in not out of town or even away from the MHP. I don't think he was saying he was in the house all weekend. JMO

ETA: I see this was already answered this way several times already while I was typing. :)

I totally understand the whole fun thing about having friends sleep over. But he was SEVENTEEN. And the younger sibs all slept together in one room. So where did GG sleep when he slept over?

Little kids love to have sleepovers with their friends. But 17 and 16 yr olds? When the 17 yr old is a few doors away from his own bed? :waitasec:

I had more sleepovers after the age of 15 than I ever did as a little kid. My best friend lived right across the road and my other close friends lived within walking distance. My mom was reluctant to let me sleep over when I was younger. I don't think this is weird. Except for the fact that the brother didn't have a bedroom of his own for his friends to be sleeping over in.

For me, I had seen pics of mom on a family member's FB. Then I saw the video and thought it odd that the driver was wearing long sleeves. Then while sleuthing I wound up on a FB page that had a pic of a girl & GG in the exact same shorts and shirt.

Some people, like myself, had seen a picture of GG (his identity was revealed on FB pages).. You can see their features are similar.. so figured the guy beside the lady in the car could be him.

that was a ''cya'' ((from my point of view)) supposedly the person who made that comment said that GG was distraught over JW case -- and cross referenced it to a family loss of nearly two's past -- too much of a stretch
I'm sure that was as much of a bullseye that the profiler's needed
If a person is upset over a loss usually they will assist not resist in solving the case ((LE knew then what they were dealing with))

BIG red flag for LE no doubt. But I m curious whether his Mom tilted her head?

Anyone know the circumstances of the aunts death?

We are staying with my sister in law this summer and her 17 year old either has someone (or two) over every night, or he is at their place. They play video games, sleep, then wake up and go to the lake. He even has a job and they will hang out before he works and then he takes them home. He even makes them breakfast lol. I really never thought anything was weird about it. We would all rather them be here, playing video games, home by 11:30pm, than out who knows where. My brother also routinely had people stay over at that age.

I like to think this sweet, spunky little soul is being kept busy in heaven, painting the markings on puppies and kittens. I have always soothed myself with this notion when little ones are taken from us.
Something about that world-weary but smiling little face had me hoping that she was just called away for some important play, instead we have all been shocked beyond belief.

Krystine......what a lovely picture you placed in my mind. Thanks for that!! :tyou:

I'm still trying to catch up, but I saw it mentioned in the last thread that the crime was committed on the anniversary of GG's aunt's death, or one day before. I'm just curious about where that information came from. I remember seeing a big smiling photo of him on FB, taken very close to this time last year. Anyone remember what I'm talking about? I'm wondering if the date of that photo is near to the date his aunt died because his mom said he was so upset about her death. I'm nosy.
