Why am I not surprised that someone actually tried that as a defense? I didn't mean to imply it was a good defense, but it could possibly raise doubt in a juror's mind, kwim?

That is about the goofiest defense I ever heard of. The most amazing thing to me is that jury deliberated six days with this defense.

Hmm, could be that she was individual A. I was thinking maybe another male. I would bet they ran her Dad's, but also speculating if they had DNA from the other two teen friends of GG's.

Because of how fast results came back, my guess is that police had to rank their suspects in the order of priority. Sounds like he was suspect #2 (B), while somebody else was suspect #1 (A).
Suspect A turned out to not be the perp.

I am thinking since the police questioned gg about 2 specif friends there might of been a b and c just thinking out loud

The words 'It wasn't right" are sticking in my brain.

What wasn't right? What happened to Jenise? Somthing that happened to him?

What??

I think Gabe was sexually abused. And the chances of him having told anyone were exactly between slim to none. He came from a family of athletic men. He wouldn't have told because in his mind it pointed to homosexual behavior. He would have been deeply ashamed. Which festered into rage. Which led to all of this.

My only question is who did it to him, when it all started and how Jenise came to be involved. I also think he's going to spill it all eventually.

JMO>

Good post, Raebie -- Those words have been flying around my head, too. And it may mean just what it seems on its surface and deep below: That what GG did to her "wasn't right." GG may simply have been on a very raw & narrow place when he said that, and admitted to himself, at least, that what he did (or maybe he was seeing it in his mind as if it were on a stage & he was watching) was so very wrong. He may never be on that raw edge again, IDK, but we may have heard the real GG in those three words.

And was there something done to him that also "wasn't right"?? And I'll say again, if he pleads & it's accepted (or vice versa), we'll never learn much more than what we "know" now. (And I also think of his mother, and shake my head for her. She's in a bad corner, far from everybody else. And, AFAWK, all she did was breathe & be a mom.) And then there is the Wright family. They're separated and grieving and not understanding anything. Oh what a swath of anguish and pain.

I'll stop now..

I was thinking yesterday, at some point in history there had to be a "person zero" who was the first pedo. And that indicates, to me, that there must be some psychological anomaly or physical/genetic something. It's quite possible that GG was never abused, had a great family and social life and something went or was haywire within him. This will be a fascinating trial if a trial occurs.

bbm

Oh, I hope so, SurfieTX -- as I see more of these trials, etc., with Bundy leading the parade, I just hope there is a little gene or chemical there in his or her make-up that is extra or missing compared with all of us "normal" people.... but I do get what you say. The mind and its health, healing and damages is far vaster than any ocean or desert we can imagine. And we (the human race) have only begun to study it and to try to figure it out. It is the new frontier, and we are certainly no more advanced that pioneers at this stage of our exploration. But we try.

It's good to see you on this board!! HiYa!

May I please say that I think we should not even speculate about who A, B, C, etc, etc are? That is awful! We know who was arrested. Right?

It stated Individual B's Dna sample from the underwear. I'd say Individual A was Jenise's Dna.

I thought he was bullied not popular. And I remember something about he had already been ordered to get help for child 🤬🤬🤬🤬🤬🤬🤬🤬🤬🤬🤬 because it was such a problem and had an interest in decomposing bodies :(.

Not saying GG couldn't have been the same and everyone is lying to protect him but I personally doubt it and was wondering if there have been other teenage sexual killers that presented similiar to GG. It seems most teenagers can't hide that something is off with them. Even sexual killers that waited until adulthood to commit those acts seemed okay while adults had childhood and teen years that were huge signs of what was to come, imo. And the close living quarters in that park and the very thin walls should have shown more than a few clues that he was at least heavily struggling with something.

Going back to my standard in these warped situations is good ol' Ted Bundy. He has been studied quite a bit, partly because he did let "us" in a bit before he was executed. In the sociopathic studies that I have read, and some are now 10-15 years ago, it seems that the sociopath as youth (middle-school age) seems to get along well enuff with his peers, assuming he is together enuff to notice and to keep himself running down the middle of the road. He doesn't really feel awkward or too different from his peers; he is liked and accepted by students and teachers. As he gets into high school & beyond, he realizes that he is not cruising along anymore. His actions are now immature and noticed. He has been trying his best to imitate and to do what he has always done to fit in. Like being color-blind, he just cannot see the difference & somehow his social self just fails to continue to grow as the rest of his body is doing. So now he not only feels more "different & apart" each day, he does realize his friends see him as silly and immature.

This is when it is difficult for him to stay "together," so he gets frustrated & angry at himself, his family, his friends and society. So he begins to strike out and grab the things he can no longer obtain by being the self he was yesterday. That's when it often starts. Drinking or drugging, stealing, peeping, little things, little things. And he gets wiser and more skilled, and bad things happen.... Late teen years are often the jumping off place.

Ted told us that 🤬🤬🤬🤬 mags & alcohol played a big part in his forays and his horrible doings. This was, of course, way before the interwebs, but 🤬🤬🤬🤬 was out there and it was a catalyst for TB. And yes, Sigg's mother had him get therapy or counseling for his 🤬🤬🤬🤬 dealings.

Just what I've studied, so take some salt grains along with my words...

I so thank you for your indignation and I agree with you. Thank God GG's bail bond is as unattainable as no bond offer at all. They are the same.

This didn't happen. Don't understand how this question moves us forward?
?? There is a lot of discussion on here that doesn't necessarily move us forward.
It doesn't, but I think we are just trying to learn more about how things are done, how things work in an investigation...especially since there are no new developments in the case facts just yet.
Yes. Thank u.

-------------

So my question again is - if GG and his mom both refused to give DNA, would LE positively be able to get a warrant to get it? I didn't think you could just go around checking everyone's DNA to see if it matches a crime.

I would think if everyone in the trailer park gave DNA but them it would look really suspicious. And if no one else in the trailer park's DNA matched that on the evidence, then they would definitely be looking harder at GG and his family. There is more than one way to get DNA. Going through their trash for soda cans, or hair or cigarette butts is just a few of many ways they could still get DNA without a court order.

I'd like that too.....keeping it easy.

Here is an example of a perp that tried to claim that defence, and the outcome.

OMG, what a lame excuse. Glad this one is off the streets. Too bad they all aren't. Wish pedophiles glowed in the dark or something, so we could know who they are. For now, I have got to go
with my instincts or that sixth sense -- so far, it has served me well.

This case makes me so sad. To think of this child's last moments hurts my heart. Reminds me of the Tori Stafford case.
I cannot believe that a person can inflict such horrors on another person. Nevermind a child.

I don't have a link, I read it a few days back and meant to mention it here, but got off the track. Anyhow..... I noticed that one of GG's SM accounts had 'I am the boss' in his screen name. Just thought it was an interesting sidebar and a lil bit more insight into him.

ETA: also wanted to mention it because one of our fellow posters had suspicioned that GG may have considered himself the boss in his house.

First Post: first time sleuthing...
Thought this was interesting regarding an injury.... Thoughts?

"I feel bad for Gaeta, too. His younger brother Gabe breaks his nose and nearly goes unconscious during Saturday's Matman Classic at Central Kitsap"

Hi! Welcome to WS!

I can't get it to open right now. What is the date on that article? Could he have had surgery on his nose sometime more than '8 months ago'?
