I think that if Joe left on his own and was smart enough to cover his tracks to the point of not being traceable, it wouldn't make sense for him to go online using anything (name and pics) that shows he is still around. So this makes no sense, other than it might really be a sick joke.

Has anybody heard anything about what came of the People article?

Well all, I spent over 10 hours on that forum last night and tracked down some pretty amazing observations. I do NOT believe it is Joe posting there- They are random posts, but this board is being controlled by some locals in the CO/WY/WI areas. They ALL joined the forum within a week of each other and there about 10 involved. They mock Joe in posts, and then "pretend" its Joe posting in his defense. BTW, the quote that was shown about suicide, is not related to Joe. It was a dumb post made by the 'fake' Joe in response to something another poster wrote. I took over 3 pages of notes. I thought about typing them out, but since I just spoke to the dect. last week, I am going to call him back on Monday am and let him know what he thinks- I had to join the forum to obtain access, so hopefully they might get an IP address or something, since it actuially has Joe's name on the orginal acct??I will let y'all know what I find out.... I hope this helps bring Joe home!

I'm sorry I have not been on in awhile. I haven't talked to Kathy in a few weeks. This is a real hard time for Kathy, and I'm respecting her privacy. I'm not sure what happened with People magazine, but I can assure you it really brought Kathy down when they did not print the article.

I have been catching up on reading here and I think those websites are fakes. I do not think Joe ran away. His fat bank account has not been touched, and neither have his storages. I think Joe was a victim of foul play, and his so called "friends" are involved. If the BPD would just focus on the obvious they could probably solve this cold case. Have they ever even talked to Camy? Camy is the one who said she was going to the car to remove mushrooms, but the cops were already there. When Kathy asked her how she even knew where the car was she clammed up and said nothing. Kathy told the cops this and they NEVER followed up!!!:furious:

The next time anyone contacts Robbie Davis, kindly ask the man why the car was not sent to forensics and why he just "walked" through Joe's apartment, and walked out? WHY wasn't every person with Joe that evening interrogated? Why did he just "ASSUME" Joe killed himself after reading a few lines from a song that was written, even after the friend who wrote the song with him said it was not about suicide? Why did he tell the FBI not to worry about this case because it was a suicide? So they wouldn't investigate the BPD?????

I took a break from this case, because if the BPD cannot, and will not do their job, how and the heck am I going to help them with anything? They do not follow up on leads, and they do not care about this case. They effed it up so bad from the very beginning so they swept it under the carpet hoping it would just disappear. Every last one of these detectives should be fired for their incompetent behavior. This family has BEGGED them to simply do their job, to get absolutely nowhere, as usual. Come on.......seriously this detective actually said he's never heard of WebSleuths? That's the biggest crock of you know what, because not only has the family and friends forwarded him posts from here, but so have many posters.

Sorry for the rant, but this case really pisses me off, and I'd like to go to BPD personally and tell them to their faces exactly how I feel, but I'd probably get :behindbar

What do we have for information that would clearly indicate that Joe Pichler's friends would be guilty of his disappearance vs someone at the restaurant where his vehicle was located, vs some low level shady character who happened upon him at some point between his last cell phone call and the day his vehicle was found?

A few questions:

• Where is Joe's car now? I have read that Kathy felt it was not processed, but has the family taken the floor mats etc...anywhere to a private lab maybe?
• How about the time line-Joe went missing some time between January 4th and January 6th, after his final cell phone call. If his car was really found behind his favorite restaurant, why did it take until 1/9 to locate it?
• Joe's brother and friend were the first to find the car, is that correct? Did they remove anything from the vehicle prior to the arrival of the police and who called the police to the scene?
• DD states that Cammy told Kathy she went to the car to remove mushrooms (assuming she means hallucinogens) but found the police already at the car. Did the police find mushrooms in the car or any other controlled substances?

Man, that statement throws a whole new light on this case-could Joe have been under the influence of a hallucinogen and wandered off??? I had read other posts that Cammy had told Kathy she went to the car to take something out of it and found the police there, BUT I had no idea what she might have been looking for. Thanks DD for adding that piece of it....

Sharons post also says his car was found on the 5th but the website says it was found on the 9th. Have those discrepancies been clarified?

I am writing, because I have a friend who is a news writer at NWCN. I know that one single case won't carry as a story, but maybe the 3 unsolved cases could carry as a story. Let me know! If anything, I think we should at least let the public know about these cases. Maybe be a story about the "unsolved cases in Bremerton, WA." Anyways, let me know! This could be an opportunity, to let people know about these 3 unsolved cases!

I have a friend, who is a news writer for Northwest Cable News, whom was also friends with Chalisa Lewis, whom is a victim of a 1995 slaying that has yet to be solved. We are all trying to get together something, not just about Chalisa, but also other unsolved cases in Bremerton, WA. That includes the Conn/Lane case and Joe Pichler's case.... We are hoping that she can maybe put together a story about all 3 cases, that can be put on NWCN or maybe Evening Magazine on KING-TV. We could use some help and ideas though! If any of you can let me know, I can forward it to the proper people, or let you people have an e-mail address to send things on. I will try to get more contact info later on, so everyone can get more details maybe on TV.

I know a lot of people think this is a lot of rubbish and I am not even sure how I feel about it but FWIW I thought I would post the astrological chart and reading that was completed by Caroline at forensicastrology.com

I had emailed her a few weeks ago and asked her to do a reading on Joe.
She does not ask for any info except last time he was seen, DOB and date of offense and uses that info to draw up his chart.

Her findings are pretty similar to what we already suspect happened. She thinks there was gambling or some card game involving money going on and someone got very angry about their losses. She also believes Joe was poisoned or drugged. That could explain why the vomit was in the passenger side of his car. She says the chart tells her that whoever did this was a friend and was either a co-worker of Joe's or in the same business as he was but that he had help disposing of Joe's body, dropping off the car, etc. She describes what she thinks the killer looks like and where she thinks his body should be looked for.

No clarification that I know of...Chico36 had an "in" with the detective on the case, but I know she has been awol here and there from the board for personal reasons. (Hoping all is well with her if she is reading!!)

I have asked about those discrepancies as well-I find it equally confusing that Joe's car was not found for such a long time given the fact that it was behind his favorite restaurant, IIRC?? I wonder if it was parked there the entire time. I was also curious if LE questioned all of the staff at the rest or if any of them disappeared around the time Joe disappeared....

I am not sure what I believe, to be honest. There was another poster who had contact with Joe's Mom who indicated that his friends went to the car to remove hallucinogens before the police arrived and searched it but when they got to the car, the police were at the vehicle. So, the question then becomes did the police remove drugs from the vehicle? Was Joe under the influence of something when he disappeared?? IIRC, Joe's brother and friend arrived at the vehicle before the police did-did they remove anything from the car?

Recreational use of drugs does not make Joe a bad person in anyway shape or form....or even an addict. I realize that in the past the implication that there might have been drugs involved at all has caused Joe's mother much pain. The speculation here regarding the possibility is not meant to be salacious-it is simply to try and determine frame of mind and possible dangers that might have led Joe in a certain direction vs another direction in the hours he disappeared.

To me, the biggest clue regarding Joe and what happened is the location of his car after he was gone. Bremerton will be forever dogged by their conclusion that he jumped from the bridge, if that is even what they decided actually happened....I have seen it reported both ways. I would still love to know what caused his classification to change to "Endangered Missing" last year....but he is out there somewhere. And it would be fantastic to get some more attention on his case.

I spoke to the Det.in charge of Joes case and told him about the fake website. I went thru each and every post that "Joe" supposedly made, and they are playing a cruel hoax, IMO. There is a group of about 6 posters (who all signed up within the same time period and all live in surrounding areas of Bremmerton. They taunt him and make fun of him on every post- I would not be one bit surprised if this is the gang of friends that were involved with Joe that last night. I fwd everything I had, and it is up to BPD to do their job!!!!

I have been away for personal reasons (thanks Believe, and Hi :blowkiss. I have hopped on here and there, but cant deal with all these dead babies lately. I get too involved also and it bothers my soul to not get anyhelp or answers. I havent stepped back into this case because I feel like I got no answer/respect for any of my sluething. ~ NOT FROM ANY WS'ERS!!! I HEART WS

Hey GIRL!! I think about you and yours often! My bold, italics etc...I hope that you do not believe we feel this way. Any movement on this strange case is welcome.

Maybe we need to stand it on it's head-What would motivate a group of friends to continue taunting Joe after he disappeared? Is there some type of code in the language they are using??? K, that generation is too far from mine lol for me to get the lingo-perhaps some of our younger or more in tune folks can translate??

I can't remember if Kathy has gone in and read the files on her son's case? Sometimes this is permitted. Another option is having a member of the press request them based on FOIA. Perhaps if the stories make it to the cable news a petition will come forward.

This case makes me crazy because there is this nagging missing piece...there is that one thing that if we saw, read or knew it, it might actually change the direction of everything.

Maybe we can send the person interested in the cold cases a list of questions at least, huh??

HI Gaia- I have hesitated to post this because I too, have found MANY discrepancies regarding these dates- I went onto the Chrlie Project and it reports he was LAST SEEN on Jan 5 and the CAR wasnt FOUND until Jan 9. Hope this clears it up a little- :blowkiss:
